Do not recommend for new consoles

Don’t really care for the EQ settings the audio boost is a gimmick and I never use it. I also cannot adjust the chat/game volume at all on Series X. Kinda sucks we’re forced to buy this adapter for the new console if you want to use anything other than a dedicated Xbox gaming Headset. I personally would not buy this again when mine breaks.

Don't buy for Elite Controllers

It doesn't say it's not compatible on the box or even on the website, but it doesn't work with the Elite Controller. It works on the regular controllers but NOT the Elites for some reason. Disappointing that this isn't mentioned ANYWHERE.

Couldn't get it to work completely

This never happened. It controlled the overall volume, but did not seem to "split" the volume controls so that you could independently adjust the game and voice (party) volume. Mute function worked, but did not find it worth $40. Returned to store.

My friend has the same product which I tested and it worked after using his. Little frustrating to not be able to hear your own voice while playing loud games.

I thought maybe I was too rough with it and bought a second one. It died in a month. I love the product when it works but now I'm out of $80 on two of these.
