    I got them for my boyfriend for Christmas and was lost on where to buy them since there are so many. In store someone helped me close a good but more affordable option for a headset and i ordered online

    Garbage this broke the first day my son used it he plugged it in and when tried pullingig out the port the jack broke off in the tablet.

    Not bad for the price but they really don’t work. They work 1-2 weeks n after that only one side work.

    I worst headset I’ve ever owned. I ordered it and it came in the mail and I was ready to use it. I was excited because all the turtle beach headsets I’ve used in the past have been amazing. However this model was terrible. I don’t know if I did something wrong or it’s just terrible. I plugged it in to test it and the mic is completely defective and the game volume is quieter than a mouse.

    Recon 200 from Turtle Beach are good gaming headphones/mic that work with all the gaming consoles that’s out today. This is one set of headphones that you can use across devices without any issues. I haven’t tested every single platform this mic works on but so far it works just fine on PS5, PS4, PC, and Xbox Series that I’ve used. Using them sound just fine, I wish the loudness in the volume was a little higher up but does a decent job letting you hear things around you. My first test was Black 4 Blood to see how it handled chaotic sound at once. It faired well and gave good isolating sound. If you are confused that this have a battery inside of it even though it’s wired; this powers the bass boost functionality. This feature works good for the Recon 200 giving it the extra power it needs. It adds bass at intense level, for example explosions from cars that rattle the headphones for a bit. Design they look really good in white and I happen to enjoy it. There is a flip down mic which is appreciated it when you need to hurry up and mute the mic. As for the mic itself it’s pretty clear and many people heard me over voice chat, no popping sounds or strangeness to the voice. So it’s really no issues there. Did I mention that they also pretty durable at-lease they feel that way in hand? I also appreciate that these Recons 200 are very much glasses friendly so it isn’t uncomfortably and awkwardly sitting on top of your head. The headphones are also extremely comfortable with the cushions that press against your ear. The plush give comfort for hours of gameplay. Turtle Beach got the comfortability right with this line of headphones. They are pretty powerful gaming headphones at this price point and something I would consider recommended to anyone on a budget. They fact they work with all devices with a 3mm headphone jack without issues of wireless connecting is a simple plus. Can’t go wrong here.

    Total disappointment when I connected this headset. Not that it was a disaster, but I was expecting a lot more from Turtle Beach. Then I realized that it was not charged, and I was not aware that it worked when out of juice. It does but the audio quality is just okay. After charging it my initial disappointment was thrown out the window. It did sound as I expected from this brand in this headset category. As an audiophile, sometimes I have a hard time reviewing some audio equipment because I must be conscious that I cannot compare a cheap with a high-end one and that I should be objective and base my review on value. Also, I tend to be forgiving when it comes to gaming audio because I’m mostly interested in the fun of the game itself. So, instead of perfect audio I focus on immersion. That is to say that the Turtle Beach Recon 200 meets the immersion requirement for its category. Audio quality is also very good considering its value. For some types of soft music, I wouldn’t use this set, but I would for most all others. But again, this is for gaming, and it does a good job for that purpose. In this price range, Turtle Beach beats many other brands. Yes, it’s wired, and I do like the freedom of wireless, but wired audio is almost always better than wireless, except for much more expensive headsets, and for video gaming it is always more stable and responsive, which can be crucial to winning, especially games with other people online. The mic performs very well too and has a flip-to-mute arm. There’s nothing to brag about design. It looks like most gaming headset of this type, but comfort is good, and the battery lasts a whole day of gaming easily. Unless you’re willing to pay a lot more for a higher-end model, I’d say this will satisfy your audio gaming needs. And if you play on multiple consoles like me, you’ll only need this headset.

    Cause an echo when in a party chat

    Used them for five secounds before my friends complained about an echo. Mic is short so it will pick up thier aduio causing a very annoying echo feedback loop. The only solution is to turn down the headphones to a volume so low you can barley hear anything. Do not waste your time on these. I bought them yesterday, ill be returning them today.
