Quality doesn't last long. Only one month since I've purchased it and the sound cuts out at any volume

Worst headphones ever. You either cannot hear out of them, or they cannot hear you out of them.

Do not buy like ever it’s honestly a joke and you will rage quit due to lack of sound

It's a wired headset that you have to charge, I would rather much just buy a wireless headset at that point

The sound sucks i used them one time. They are so bad i gave them to my two year old.

Bought these for Christmas to surprise my son and let’s just say a week later all you can hear is static while talking on the mic and the sound goes in and out on the headset .

I did first test the 12 hour charge and in fact it exceeded 12 hours, so that’s nice. I also tried the passive ‘power off’ position and the head phones worked fine albeit at a much lower volume. So that does work but inspired me to ensure I keep the head phones charged to get that terrific power sound. The volume controls were positioned very ergonomically and intuitive. I did notice the clever style of the earpad sections to tilt ensured the phones will hug your head without pinching. The material used to make the pads is very smooth, no sweat and soft as butter. I played games for hours with no discomfort and often didn’t even feel the head phones on – so that is great. I also wear glasses and noticed how the glasses didn’t cause discomfort apparently due to the ‘dual foam’ design which I can attest actually works well. The ‘up’ move of the mic boom did mute the microphone as specified. Sound was great, I would not say superb sound, but at this price point I felt the audio was very realistic. I would highly recommend these head phones.

Got this gift for my brother. Does not stop echoing. And doesn’t mute.

It did not work with my ps4 at all. I could hear but could not speak and be heard. Idk if it was this particular headset or across the board. Good luck

The Turtle Beach - Recon 200 Gen 2 is a great headset at a great price point. The improved ear cushions provide excellent comfort for extended use and are designed for gamers with glasses. The sound is great and they get super loud! This headset will work with anything that can take a 3.5 mm headphone cable which is awesome. Additionally, the Recon 200 is battery powered which helps it produce the big and boosted sound. When the battery runs out, you will still get sound but without the boost. Battery life is around 12 hours on a single charge. All the controls are located on the headset itself and includes a flip-to-mute feature. So no more fiddling with the inline mute switch or volume control. Overall, this headset is great. You get great sound, features, versatility and ease of use at an excellent price. You really can't go wrong here!

This Turtle Beach headset has some decent sound for a device in this price range. Nice bass that is not muddled unless you turn it way up (and sacrifice your hearing at that volume) and the mic does an above average job of picking up my voice during chat. Build quality is just average for this price point but the comfort while wearing for extended periods make up for that. It's not too heavy and I've had no problem having this on my head for up to eight hours. My only complaint is that it requires charging but is not wireless and that is uses a 3.5mm headphone jack rather than USB. Overall, a decent headset.

I can not say anything about this Product because it was a gift for a kid.

Did not work well on my Xbox series S. Other players could not hear me on party chat.

Anytime I can get my hands on Turtle Beach headphones, I jump at the opportunity. I will objectively say that in the gaming headphone market the Turtle Beach brand is generally thought of first. This is because no matter weather you are rocking one of their higher-end more pricey headphones or one of the intro level headphones you will get a product that delivers a great feel, durable design, and most importantly a superior sound quality. The Recon 200 Gen 2 uphold this tradition. Out of the box they had enough power that I could jump right in and played for several hours on my Xbox Series X. I started with Madden and was pleased with the chat mic and overall sound. Next, I played Warzone and was actually impressed here more so with the sound quality than anywhere. WZ is sound crucial and the devs were like "Hey let’s make everything so loud that it ruins peoples hearing and they cannot make out other sounds" (jk but fr). These played very well and even though the game is designed to purposefully hide footsteps with background noise. The clarity I experienced allowed for me to easily distinguish. The pair wears very well and are super comfortable. I am a big guy and these fit great but will easily adjust to a smaller size. The White and Grey also really pop just for flex. I will note that I wish the 3.5 mm cable were a bit longer but in comparison it is as long or longer than others. I also prefer to use this type of mutable mic with the Xbox headset controller adapter. I do this because the only way to mute yourself is to push the mic up and since it is a low-profile mic this can be cumbersome to do during more intense game play. The Recon 200 are priced at an entry level price, but I cannot tell a difference between my higher-end pair and these in a lot of cases. I believe that is saying something. Furthermore, just so it is said they played very well on my laptop too.

The sound, the bass (especially powered) is fantastic. The sound that is passed from the PS5 controller is phenomenal though these headphones. They are light and quite comfortable, even wearing glasses. While they are not advertised as noise cancelling, you do not get external sounds coming through at all. Simply outstanding.
