The mic is average. The ear cups are not the most comfy for long gaming sessions. This headset is not the worst I've used, but not the best either. Good price for entry level headset.

The cheap one that comes with the xbox is terrible. After a while he couldn't use the mic at all. This headset was a christmas gift for him and he loves it! He even loves the black and green color! Works great and easy to use on the xbox one.
