This is the first set of Turtle Beaches I've purchased. At first, they feel like in order to fit comfortably over your ears the headband needs to rest toward the front of your head (Which feels awkward). The mic works great and being able to detach it from the headset is handy when you want to use them as wireless headphones for your TV. The main complaint I have is that they need to be plugged in to the controller. There have been numerous times that I have set my controller down to reach for something and it caused my controller to slam to the ground. I'm most likely going to trade them in for an upgrade to a wireless set solely for that reason. The sound quality is good and the volume is decent. If having a wire doesn't seem likely to bother you, this is a great deal.

Cheap and functional. I just needed a new headset that works, that I didn't have to spend too much on. This is exactly that. It will hold me until I'm ready to upgrade. It's comfortable. I just wish the volume had more range, but I have no real complaints.

Been using the Recon 50X for couple weeks. The sound quality is very good for the price. The head set was built with durable material and comfortable to wear. I like the design as well it matched my other equipment. I also use the headset for conference calls and the quality was very good and mic was loud enough so every one could hear my presentation well.

You gotta check out these Turtle Beach headphones, they're so nice sound quality is off the charts, and they feel like clouds on your ears. And bonus, they're built like tanks, so they'll last through all your crazy gaming sessions!

The headset does what it is supposed to; great surround sound, good highs and lows, it is comfortable. I wish they could be a little louder, but then hearing might suffer.

Great headset with good audio as a low cost alternative. These have been tanks in my experience. I’ve used them often in the past with no issues for long periods of time and turtle beach has some of the best quality components for gaming. My son in law uses these and he loves them.

Pro- others cant hear baby while in chat. Pro- comfortable, not heavy, and good volume. Pro- slight noise canceling, less baby sounds while i relax. Pro- I hear great, person next to me isnt also annoyed with how loud sound is. Con- wired (but for the cost is that even fair?)

Nice entry level headphone set for xbox gaming. Fits well and seems durable. Sound and microphone controls are acceptable.

I bought this headset for my sister who plays on Xbox, and she could not be more pleased. The price for this headset is great. The sound quality is good, the mic is crisp and clear, the only issue anyone should have with this headset are the wires which, if you're buying a wired headset you should already be comfortable with. Overall I highly suggest this headset.

This headset works well for my 11 year-old son for gaming on his x-box. Good audio quality & microphone. Comfortable headphones.

Sounds great for a budget headset. Its more comfortable than my old turtle beach headset for xbox 360. Im using the xbox one set. Lightweight and easy to use. Would totally recommend.

its an overall great headset for gaming; real light, removable mic, adjustable volume, mute button, 3.5mm, works with all phones but IPhone 7.

This very comfortable and works great. Quality of the headset is very good. Make sure you have the new xbox controller with 3.55mm jack.This one also works with PS4 with no issues.

Comfortable with adjustable microphone gets you into the action like being there in real life. These are fantastic for the xbox or any other game system.
