The headset is valid and at a great price. Pull the trigger and get them. You can use your savings to get a new graphics card.

He has used it ever since. We'll probably purchase more for his friends to use when they come over since it's great for the price (right now we use his Snowball Ice mic).

Good while they last

My son used them daily for over a year but with a bum mic he had to get new ones. The sound does still work so they aren’t useless.

For the price you aren't going to find much better. Go with something more expensive. And for the love of all things beautiful, don't buy anything from Razer, they're not quality. You're paying for the name and that's about it. Go with a Logitech or a Corsair or HyperX or SteelSeries. Even a more expensive Turtle Beach headset would be fine.
