I'm giving it 1 star because the cord is ridiculously short. I'm appalled at all you guys who left 5 star reviews. This cord is like 3 feet long. My computer is not that far away, and the cord hangs in front of my face the entire time. Turtle Beach, can you guys send me an extension cord, then I'll bump up my review to 5 stars, because everything else about this headset is perfect. What were you thinking my dudes. I say this with respect, but this cord is extremely short. I'm so shocked. I've never seen this before with any headset. This is insanity.

The Recon 70 was originally designed for use with designed to work with Xbox, PlayStation® and Nintendo Switch™. It's cable was designed to give you enough distance between the headset & the console's controller (or the handheld console itself in the case of the Switch).
With that being said, due to the type of connection the Recon 70 is equipped with, it can can also be used with other devices equipped with a single headset jack like a PC or smartphone.
If you find the cable is too short for use within your current set up; a 3.5mm CTIA extension cable would be recommended.
You can reach out to our Support Team via the main Turtle Beach website via your inquiry to see if they'd be able to assist you in getting this kind of cable; but as it is not a part that is sold along with our products we can't make any guarantees about that.

Handheld use optimal

Cable is definitely designed for handheld use. Not very practical with Nintendo Switch docking station use. The cable is just too short. Simple because I try to keep my son back from the television and he can't cause the cable pulls the switch out the docking station.
