    Bummer…my son says his friends complain that there is an echo when he uses this headset. When he wears his older taped together set, there is no echo.

    It worked for maybe 3 months and then I had this issue where I had to keep adjusting the volume in order to get my right or left ear to have volume

    One of the worst headsets I can remember buying. Could not for the life of me get this headset to stop echoing when connected to xbox controller. No amount of settings changes would work. Idk if it was that the tiny mic arm was too close to the speakers or what. Don't recommend.

    Stop working after a short time

    This is the second headset that I have purchased in the last couple of months. They simply stop working after a couple of weeks. Will not buy again!

    Just bought a few hours ago. Microphone will not pick up my voice and wasn’t playing game sound either. Will be returning after Christmas

    Great sounding and comfortable replacement headset

    I was quite surprised at how nice these headphones are for the price! The sound is excellent with great lows and crisp highs. One thing to be aware of right away, is you need to have a controller with a 3.5mm headphone jack, or you will need to purchase the XBox One Headset Audio Controller add-on. Luckily, I have a controller from PDP that I actually bought for my Windows PC that had the audio jack. The headset is very lightweight, but seems well constructed. I have a fat head, so at first they were a tad snug, but there is plenty of adjustment, so I was able to find a comfortable setting. I wear glasses, so I have to be pretty selective with these type of over-the-ear headphones, or I end up with shooting pains in my ears after a little while. The ear holes were a perfect fit, and the pads are nice and soft, so they are very comfortable and I didn't have any issue with ear pain. The surround sound is awesome. It really immerses you in the game! I usually play with external audio, so having these headphones on I could hear every little game sound and it was quite awesome. The spatial sound really makes you hear things in different directions, and volume levels. The microphone works just fine and audio quality was great. It has the easy flip style mic that shuts off the mic by simply putting the mic in the vertical position, so it's really easy to mute when you want to and quickly un-mute when you need to talk. About the only thing missing is a volume control, so you will need to adjust the volume settings with the game volume settings. It would've been a nice thing to put a volume control on the headset. Hard to go wrong with this headset if you're looking for a replacement for the stock XBox One headset! Also works great on my Windows PC, so definite bonus there! Great job Turtle Beach!

    Owned for a few months without using the mic. Use the headset a couple of times. Just tried using the mic - doesn't work. Only has a slight hiss.

    Lasted about a month and mic went out. So you can listen but you can't talk.

    Ive had these for a month and a half and there shorting out already. Plus causing problems with others hearing me. I say save your money.

    I would recommend this for gaming at a budget. Works good cant complain, but if your an extreme gamer the higher price one are the best.

    These microphones have worked off and on with my son's Switch and Tablet. I think this is pretty common with any microphone though.

    Pretty crapy. Nice build quality and good sound clarity but audio is not great... imagine your listening to a song but it's one note. That's what these are.

    Son enjoys wearing and good quality sound. Eat fatigue after a while, son complains about it hurting his ears.

    The Turtle Beach Recon 70

    The Turtle Beach Recon 70 is a decient, garden variety gaming headset. It handles the basics well and doesn't offer any frills. Bassheads won't be satisfied here because of the quiet sub-bass response. Still, this kind of sound shouldn't be much of a hindrance since explosions are typically mixed to be the loudest sound in a game anyway.

    very easy to break it fell of my head on my table and the mic fell off even though it was a 5 inch drop so it pretty bad atleast in my expirence
