They're nice quality and have great features for the price. They're a tad quiet though, in my opinion, so if you're able, I'd definitely grab the model up or meander on over to the pc gaming headsets. But again, if budget is an issue, these do perform great for the price.

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We had to replace a Turtle Beach Recon 50 head that my son told was broken (note: it was the controller jack that was bugged, not the headset). This was the same price we had paid for the Recon 50 so we upgraded on the exchange. He really likes the fact that the volume controls are mounted on the headset (as opposed inline along the cord on the Recon 50) and to mute the mic requires just a simple 90-degree flip. I'd say this is a good headset for the price.

Better than I thought they would be

I honestly didn’t think turtle beach headphones could get better since they always were average.

Decent for the price

Does a good job of noise canceling but at the upper ranges of sound it does give some feedback over microphone. Obviously you can use in any standard 3.5mm Jack so you can use it for different things. I would purchase again.
