Fantastic sound quality, comfortable even after multiple hours of use, long battery life, and easy to set up. Even though the box is marked “for XBox” these fully work with the PS5 as well (there’s a little slider button on the USB dongle that you need to select, but that’s it). I tried the PS explore buds before these- they were incredibly uncomfortable and like $70 more expensive even while on sale, I returned them the same day. 10/10 recommend the Stealth 600s.

The Turtle Beach Stealth 600 v3 wireless gaming headset is a contender at this price point. Connecting them to the PC is straight forward. You can also simultaneously connect to your phone via Bluetooth. You can also easily switch between the two with a press of a button. This makes gaming and being able to take a call very easy without even having to remove the headset. You can easily mute the mic by just putting it upright. All the controls are on the left side and easy to access. It does take a minute to remember what button does what though. The sound is... Okay. I know sound is subjective, but I found the Stealth 600 v3'S to sound average, even after trying to adjust the EQ. You have the ability to adjust the EQ on the PC version of the app, but oddly not the Android phone version. You can also quick select 4 preset EQ's right out of the box on the headset itself. The volume is where I take issue with this headset. The volume is very low until you get to around 80, then goes up quickly every advance after that. On top of that, the volume control on the headset moves the volume generally by 6's, but sometimes it will max the volume by clicking one notch. Can be annoying and frustrating at the same time. I found using the volume of my keyboard only goes up by 2's and is much more manageable for controlling the volume. I found the Stealth 600 v3's to be fairly comfortable. I wear glasses while gaming and did not have any issues with the ear pads pressing the frames causing any pain or fatigue, but I do have an issue with the speaker part touching the tops of my ears causing pressure, and sometimes discomfort. If the ear pads were a little thicker or deeper, this wouldn't be a problem. The supporting app gives you access to many other features like the EQ(PC only) and the ability to customize some of the buttons on the headset. Another nice feature the app has is that it also gives you the ability to setup Macros on you keyboard that are game specific while the app is running. One thing I found rather odd was that I had to update the firmware via the phone app. The battery life is very good. I've been using them all week, playing a few hours a day, and the battery level is showing 90% in the app. I do wish that there was an option to put the battery life meter/percentage in the icon tray. Likes: 1.) Battery Life 2.) Supporting app 3.) Easy mic mute Dislikes: 1.) Volume and volume control 2.) Not the most comfortable for me. 3.) I’ve only had this Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Wireless Gaming Headset for about a week, but it was enough to put it through its paces. Compared to my premium gaming headset from another popular vendor it fairs pretty well, though it falls a bit short on fullness of the soundstage including the microphone. The build quality is solid, a mix of metals and plastics and generous padding with memory foam ear cushions wrapped in soft athletic weave fabric. At only 0.7 lbs they do not feel too heavy but depending on your head size, the headband may clamp a bit tight, therefore not necessarily super comfortable for prolonged periods of time. I do wear a large size helmet for my real-life car racing hobbies, so I start feeling the squeeze from these headphones after 1-2 hours of gaming. Setup is simple with either the included low latency 2.4 GHz wireless dongle or built-in bluetooth, just make sure to switch the headphones to the correct pairing mode. Connecting to a Windows PC and Xbox One was a breeze and tweaking EQ, microphone and many other settings and customizations is pretty straight forward with the Swarm II app. I really appreciate the flip-up mic to mute function and also get it out of the way when you’re just listening to the in-game sound or music and not chatting in multi-player games. One of the greatest features of these headphones is the true multi-platform compatibility with all major game consoles and ease of switching between different devices with the QuickSwitch button found along with all other buttons and two scroll wheels on the left earcup. The sound quality is about average with all the fine tuning and clear volume comes out of the 50mm drivers that cover a wide frequency range, though these are still more of a budget headphone that does not compare with others costing twice or three times as much. The advertised battery life is nothing but impressive at 80-hours. Last but not least, the 2.4 GHz wireless USB dongle connection works seamlessly and with no noticeable delay, providing a better, faster, more stable connection than bluetooth with a generous range. All in all, if you are an avid gamer on pretty much any platform and are looking for an affordable gaming headset, the Turtle Beach Stealth 600 is good quality and value for your money.

Turtle Beach released their newest headset. Over the years, I have used headsets from different brands and Turtle Beach tends to be the brand that I feel most comfortable with and that I tend to go back to when it's time for a new headset. This set has the flip up/down mic which is it's toggle between being active and muted. I find this feature easier to use than having a mute button to find and push. The layout of the buttons on this set are simple and easy to find. When you turn the head set on it notifies you when it has connected and ready for use. One feature I wish this headset had but doesn't is telling you what level of charge the battery has when you first turn it on. My previous Turtle Beach headset did that and I really appreciate that feature. This headset does not have separate controls for chat versus sound volumes, also as my previous headset had. This certainly is not a deal-breaker for me because what this headset has that my previous one did not is an app that that the headset connects to and that you can use to adjust settings on the fly. The sound versus game chat volume control lies within the application. I actually really like the fact that an app is associated with this headset and the settings I can adjust in the app. This headset is very comfortable to wear and I could imagine having it on quite some time before I would experience ear fatigue. The construction on this headset is good however, compared to my previous one, I don't feel it is as solid and I wish it Incorporated metal components. Overall, I am happy with this headset and would recommend it in today's current lineup of what's available on the market.

I got this headset for my kiddo and his XBOX. Sound is great, battery life is great, and easy to connect. Price was nice as well for a wireless headset of this quality. Thinking about buying an extra for whenever other friends of his come over.

This is a high-quality headset with great sound. The best features I like are how customizable it is, on-headset controls for Mode, Mic and Game volume, and Hot Key assignment capability for several functions including Superhuman Hearing. The first thing you have to do with this headset is download the Swarm II app. Be sure to specify Stealth 600 Gen 3 or the Swarm II download will not appear. Once downloaded, the app will take you through updates. After these steps are completed, the headset is ready to use. There are a multitude of different settings available to customize the sound and functionality of the headset, so I recommend taking the time to explore all of the different options, including hot key assignments, that are available on the app. Some of the settings available include an Equalizer with 4 preset modes including Turtle Beach Signature Sound and ability to create additional custom presets; Superhuman Hearing mode; Mic controls including Noise Gate; ability to assign different functions to some headset buttons; and the above mentioned Hot Key assignments including Superhuman Hearing On/Off. I have to say more about Superhuman Hearing. This mode enhances faint audio details and is a game changer. You hear more subtle audio detail than ever; it enhances your ability to detect threats. In my opinion it's a must use mode in any game. I'm hearing my games differently with this mode turned on. Bottom line this is a great headset at a reasonable price. Get it for the Superhuman Hearing if nothing else.

Definitely worth the money. If you’re looking for comfort / loud these are what you want to buy !

The sound is decent, but for same price range there are better sounds options like dolby. But, The build and quality looks better. I like the build and fit.

Do NOT buy…….while they are comfy and sound decent, the transmitter that comes with it to work on consoles and pc is bad and needs a recall. Turtle beach tried patching it with a firmware update and it did nothing. The transmitter is constantly losing connection to the headset and also tripping my brand new ps5 pro. There has to be faulty components not just in mine but in many others with the same issue. The Bluetooth works perfect for phones and on pc but if you need to use the dongle, beware that I may break your system or pc and not work. It’s terrible and I will return this week.

This is a great gaming headset! The sound quality is excellent. The controls are simple to use. And the headset is adjustable and very comfortable. Highly recommended!

I have always purchased Turtle Beach and I have enjoyed them very much. I was skeptical of the new transmitter style but bought it anyways. I have had these 3 hours and will return to Best Buy when they open. I charged the headset, after a failed attempt, I got the required firmware update installed to get through setup, played around to set preferences/equalizer. Master volume and game/chat mixer will not adjust on the headset without chat boost enabled in the app, factory reset fixed that temporarily, then no one can hear me in chat even though it registers on screen, turned microphone and mic monitoring all the way up, factory reset again, now master volume and game/chat on the headset only work with superhuman hearing enabled, factory reset again and still intermittent issues again with microphone. Switched over to Stealth 600 Gen 2X, press a button and they work and actually sound better. Gone are the days of a quality wireless Turtle Beach headset I’m afraid.

This is the best gaming headset I have ever owned. I use it for my PC a lot more than my Xbox

I love how they look but i play on pc and i hear the footsteps but i hear them on both ears so is hard for me to describe what direction the enemies are coming from it sucks cause i have try everything tonset then up but it dont work for me and is ee the reviews and they all positive am i the only one with this issues.

When they actually connect to your PC, they work great. Good quality sound and decent battery life (nowhere near the 80 Hours they claim though). BUT...I get constant disconnect problems, bluetooth mode doesn't work at all, and I have to unplug and replug the dongle into my PC so it will reconnect. I have updated it several times and still have the same problems. Maybe they work better with playstation...but for PC, look elsewhere.

It’s crucial to know if this headset will work with your system. I purchased the Turtlebeach 600 Stealth headsets for XBox X recently. Even though, it says on the webiste that it’s compatible with Xbox, Playstation, PC, electronic devices… That’s ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE. When i attampted to connect to my Xbox X gaming system, it wouldnt connect to it at all. I gave it multiple tries, multiple attempts and was still unsuccessful. I contacted CUSTOMER SERVICE and gave them the serial number of the headsets and guess what they told me. “I'm seeing this is the Playstation version which is unfortunately incompatible with the Xbox.”
