This headset is perfect for use with PC and Xbox. I love the flip to mute microphone boom, how it folds up and out of the way and the indicators on this headset are clear and bright. The charging LED is nice and large, and shows clear colors for charging and charged. The microphone also shows red for muted. These are a little weighty and a touch snug, but that allows them to fit well and stay on your head during any kind of rambunctious play. I haven't tested the 80 hours of battery life, but they have to be right around if not exceeding that, because with some daily short amounts of play I feel like I'm charging them once a week. There are multiple connectivity options, but I find I have the best / lowest latency using the included USB adapter. I believe that routes the audio signal via RF, and that make sense that it's faster than bluetooth. The overall construction is very solid and the unboxing is a pleasant one that I would expect from these high end products. The ear cups feel like some kind of soft synthetic material that is more breathable than leather but seems to be comfortable and wear well. The headband portion is VERY heavy duty and while this is usually a failure point on other headphones, these seem to have that figured out.

I got this headset thinking it would be a quality product but i was wrong. This headset refuses to connect to my xbox. I wouldn’t waste the money. Also be advised the instructions are not clear.

Great for Bluetooth but the wireless mode is REALLY bad. Sound is awful connecting to the Xbox. Will be trading this in for an Xbox official headset.

Mic quit working after one week. Not very impressed with this headset at this point. My son bought it with his own money and now we have to travel to replace or wait who knows how long for Turtle Beach to replace.

I loved this headset until it died within a month and wouldn’t turn back on. It won’t charge. I’ve tried multiple chargers. Tried all troubleshooting. Charged it all night. Nothing. Too late to return.

I have owned several pairs of headphones over my lifetime of playing computer games since the mid to late 90s so about say 27 years and i have owned way more expensive roccat to a ten dollar headset. The big things i look for is sound quality of course, ease of setup, weight on my head, comfort and lastly the software package and battery life. After using these for about 30 hours i have to say i was pretty impressed with all the above. They have a 80 hour battery life and i have not hooked it to a charger other than the original first charge and the battery is still rocking strong after 30 hours of use. They are compatible with almost anything you can throw at them with Bluetooth or 2.4 GHZ wireless hookup. I also like the flip to mute Mic so I'm not fumbling trying to find a button to mute the Mic i simply flip the Mic up and it mutes it, so nice touch. For sound quality they use Waves 3D Audio & they have the bigger 50mm Drivers. So you are getting some nice punch with the sound and base. The memory foam is very nice around your ears. Makes it so they don't feel like they are cutting into your head and memory foam is nice and light also. All in all i did not have any bad experiences with the headset. Sound quality was very good, felt nice on my head did not get heavy after long gameplay session and never had the battery die on me even after 30 hour of use with no charge since setup charge. So if your looking for a midrange headset with pretty good sound quality i would defiantly grab a set.

I really like this headset. Really, really like them. I am not a audiophile but I bet if one listened to these they would like them as well. They are very comfortable. The ear cups have that soft material that doesn't make my head sweat while playing a long session of Ghost Recon or Helldivers II. I don't know what voodoo Turtle Beach used to make these sound the way they do but they got their money's worth out of it. Did I mention they are comfortable? They look good. Hold a charge for a good amount of time. Once I fully charged them I still haven't had to plug them in and that was a ten days ago. A few sessions of gaming about three hours a piece and a four days on standby not being used they are sitting at 65% battery left. Gotta love it. The mic has decent sound and I like the way it tucks away. My only con with these is that the power button is kinda small. I have to take them off to engage it. If you have a big head or know someone who does and they complain about not being able to find a good headset that looks good, feels good and sounds good tell them to give these a shot. I would have no problem recommending these.

Wireless mode repeats in your ear every 5 minutes distorting the mic and headphones

constantly disconnects from pc ..... tried drivers firmware updates ... nothing work. useless as a headset.

To begin, there is a lot to like with these headphones. First and foremost, they work well. Even at the loudest volume there is no distortion and, while I would not say they were overly loud, it is hard to imagine a use case where the maximum volume is not enough for me (or most users, for that matter). The microphone "clicks" into place and has an auto-mute function when it is folded up into the headset, which is really nice compared to others where the mic stays live unless you take steps to manually turn it off. The microphone picks up well and my voice is clear when using it. The headset can be used via bluetooth or wireless using the USB dongle included in the box. There is a USB-A to USB-C cable included in the box for charging as well. There are two volume knobs on the unit that have the right amount of tactile feel and "clicking" when adjusting the volume. The first is the master volume and the second is a "game/chat mix" or "variable mic-monitoring" adjustment, depending on whether you are using the headphones with an Xbox, Playstation, or a PC. There is a button that allows you to quickly switch between bluetooth and wireless modes (although, if wireless is working well, there really is no need for bluetooth). Another button toggles the different EQ settings between "signature sound," bass boost, base and treble booster and vocal boost. Unfortunately, there is nothing in the minimalist documentation that accompanies the headphones to let you know what these modes are... I had to go online to figure that one out. The unit also has something Turtle Beach calls "superhuman hearing" mode that amplifies critical in-game sounds that are supposed to give you an edge when gaming (such as hearing enemy footsteps, an approaching tank, etc.). When enabled, however, the EQ settings are disabled. Apparently, Turtle Beach has data on this feature that indicates it can make a 20% to 40% difference in gaming metrics. The games I play, however, are not such at I would really benefit from this feature, so I do not have much feedback on it. Beyond volume controls and special feature, the headphones themselves, just by virtue of their construction, do a decent job of blocking out external noise. While there is a lot to love with these headphones, this takes me to its perceived shortcomings. First of all, the dongle and the headphones must be updated, which was not a very intuitive process. While the instructions provide a QR code for an Android or iPhone, I had no desire to connect these headphones to my phone. So, I connected it to my PC instead... and nothing worked out of the box. I had to install Turtle Beach's application. The caveat, however, is that when I initially went on their website to find the application, it had me download the wrong application. I only found this out after must frustration and re-reading the lean instructions and the fine print stating I needed the Swarm II desktop software. Once I had the right software installed, however, the upgrade process was relatively straightforward. I ultimately tested this headset out with a PS5 and it worked well, but that was after updating through my PC. I have no idea how I would have done that from my PS5. My next complaint is the material used for the ear pads. Rather than a nice, supple leather, the headphones use a cloth material that I would describe as somewhat scratchy. At the time I am writing this review, I have had the headphones off my head for a good 30 minutes and my ears still feel warm and somewhat itchy. I suppose this ultimately comes down to personal preference and I am sure the material would not bother some users. The headset is comfortable otherwise. They have decent "heft," but are not too heavy on the head. So, setup and ear pad material aside, there is probably a lot to like with these headphones given the price. Personally, though, I would probably spend a little extra to have a leather ear pad that is more comfortable.

Fantastic sound quality, comfortable even after multiple hours of use, long battery life, and easy to set up. Even though the box is marked “for XBox” these fully work with the PS5 as well (there’s a little slider button on the USB dongle that you need to select, but that’s it). I tried the PS explore buds before these- they were incredibly uncomfortable and like $70 more expensive even while on sale, I returned them the same day. 10/10 recommend the Stealth 600s.

I’ve only had this Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Wireless Gaming Headset for about a week, but it was enough to put it through its paces. Compared to my premium gaming headset from another popular vendor it fairs pretty well, though it falls a bit short on fullness of the soundstage including the microphone. The build quality is solid, a mix of metals and plastics and generous padding with memory foam ear cushions wrapped in soft athletic weave fabric. At only 0.7 lbs they do not feel too heavy but depending on your head size, the headband may clamp a bit tight, therefore not necessarily super comfortable for prolonged periods of time. I do wear a large size helmet for my real-life car racing hobbies, so I start feeling the squeeze from these headphones after 1-2 hours of gaming. Setup is simple with either the included low latency 2.4 GHz wireless dongle or built-in bluetooth, just make sure to switch the headphones to the correct pairing mode. Connecting to a Windows PC and Xbox One was a breeze and tweaking EQ, microphone and many other settings and customizations is pretty straight forward with the Swarm II app. I really appreciate the flip-up mic to mute function and also get it out of the way when you’re just listening to the in-game sound or music and not chatting in multi-player games. One of the greatest features of these headphones is the true multi-platform compatibility with all major game consoles and ease of switching between different devices with the QuickSwitch button found along with all other buttons and two scroll wheels on the left earcup. The sound quality is about average with all the fine tuning and clear volume comes out of the 50mm drivers that cover a wide frequency range, though these are still more of a budget headphone that does not compare with others costing twice or three times as much. The advertised battery life is nothing but impressive at 80-hours. Last but not least, the 2.4 GHz wireless USB dongle connection works seamlessly and with no noticeable delay, providing a better, faster, more stable connection than bluetooth with a generous range. All in all, if you are an avid gamer on pretty much any platform and are looking for an affordable gaming headset, the Turtle Beach Stealth 600 is good quality and value for your money.
