This is second pair of Turtle Beach headsets that fails in the same location. I purchased this more expensive version thinking it would last longer than 14 months. I am not a kid that mishandles my headsets. Support just says sorry you are out of warranty.

The wirless usb type a solution makes plugging into any console such as my PS4, PS5, or my Nintendo Switch very streamlined and the additional ability to connect to your phone to control the headset's additional functions as well as making or recieving phone calls to family and friends or even using discord when playing Switch Online games makes this an absolute unit. The noise canceling is decent, if lacking a little from my $350 Sony WH-1000XM3 headset, but that's to be expected I feel. My absolute favorite thing about the Turtle Beach 700 Max is the suttley hidden flip down microphone that sounds supprisingly nice for the price. No where near broadcast quality, but there is very little distortion in the voice and it only sounds the slightest bit fuzzy.
