Let me start with the elephant in the room. What is the difference between these turtle beach headphones and the ones that came out earlier this year. The difference is this one works on everything except Xbox. Which definitely seems like a downside if you have multiple consoles. At first I was excited because the receiver had a ps mode and pc mode. I thought wow turtle beach was able to get Sony to let them control chat mix but sadly I was wrong. The only difference so could find was switching from ps to pc mode on my ps5 switched what the chat mix dial would control which you can set on the app so you can have it control Bluetooth volume if your using discord or something while playing on PlayStation or a couple of other options. Ok now that is out of the way let’s get to the good stuff these are essentially the same as the previous release same great comfort and audio quality battery life is great and overall the headphones are very solid. They can be a bit tight when you first use them I left overnight stretching out a bit as they were too tight at first but after they felt great. I Feel like Turtle Beach often gets a bad rap, are these the most stylish gaming headphones out there no but they are extremely solid sound great and work as intended. If you are looking for a solid pair of headphones that sound great and are very comfortable definitely pick these up

I've long been a fan of Turtle Beach for my console gaming headsets. This set does not disappoint and delivers accurate sound with good battery life. Wireless is a nice feature and I haven't notice a big difference between my wired set in terms of lag or accuracy. My biggest issue is the continued lack of quality materials used by Turtle Beach. Logitech tends to be a notch better but sometimes the easiest solution seems to be a really good music headphone set used for gaming as well. Setup: Seamless on my PS4. Take about ten minutes. Controls are easy to access and fairly intuitive. The mic flips up into the headset for easier storage which is a nice feature. Battery life: I don't often play more than 2 hours straight, but I was able to make is easily last 20+ hours of game time. Sound: Accurate and responsive. I don't notice a significant delay on the wireless set up. The surround on COD, GTA, Need for Speed, etc was immersive and did bring me in to the game. There were only a few rare times there was some a moment of signal loss but nothing major. Comfort: Super comfortable at two hours and didn't feel too sweaty or warm which I've dealt with before. They are light enough. Overall I would recommend this set but I have to knock them down a start for the quality.

Half the time bluetooth wont connect and have to reset it several times. Had it less then 2 months and usb doongle stopped working

The first use they were great, as soon as i turned off and back on for the next use they wouldnt turn on at all, no light or anything. This makes the second pair of 700's that gave me issues.

Total trash.... 1 month after the eligible return date, they totally stopped working. Won't take a charge, won't turn on. Total expensive waste of money!!

Did not work properly, returned them. I opted for the turtle beach elite. It was more expensive, but well worth it. Spend the extra money, the stealth dont last.

I wanted to try them as heard they are very good. If you have a small head yes, I have a normal size head and it wasntoo much pressure. These headphone were returned only for the pressure on my head, everything else was great.

I have tested so many headsets that as long as it meets certain criteria, I have learned that they are probably fairly good. I have broken my criteria down into core competencies. The first is whether they are cool and if they are well built. The Turtle Beach - Stealth 700 Gen 2 Max Wireless headphones meet the bill. Turtle Beach is the godfather of gaming headphones. They have a long history of building headphones that gamers can use and abuse. These are no different, the headphones are sleek, stylish, and crafted from good materials. The headphones are super comfortable and light. In my first session using them, we played PUBG for about six hours. I have noticed that sometimes new headphones feel better after a couple of months of use, kind of like a new pair of shoes. This unit though was perfect right out of the box. The fit is snug, and I thought I was not going to like that, but it was actually very pleasing. I believe the fit helped amplify the audio, which leads me to the next thought. The next competency would be sound, of course. The Stealth 700 has a booming 50mm inner ear speaker on each side that delivers movie theater quality sound. I was playing the MW2 Beta and was just blown away by the audio precision. The voice mic clarity in and out is excellent as well. Lastly, the final competency I really look for is battery life and connectivity. One aspect, I have always been quite fond of from Turtle Beach is their plug and play turnkey audio quality. I like being able to plug in a pair of headphones on my console or my pc and they immediately connect and sound beautifully without having to jack with mix amps or equalizers. I had no issue with connectivity on the PlayStation or with my pc running Windows 11. Then as for battery life, you cannot kill these things. This is probably the longest lasting battery in a wireless headphone I have ever seen. But even if you do kill them, they can be charged enough for a couple of hours of gameplay time in just a few minutes. My honest opinion is that these are the best Turtle Beach headphones I have ever had on my head. Big performer here, 10 out of 10.

Summary -------------- Overall an excellent multi-use headphones which I regularly use for gaming, listening to music and also joining zoom calls when working from home. The headphones are well made , fits my large head perfectly well and love the fact that it is Bluetooth and USB dongle capable and it makes me connect to wide range of devices. Overall a good buy Pros ------ 1. Can connect to Bluetooth and devices through a USB dongle. 2. 40 hours of battery life. 3. Love the cross platform connectivity 4. Excellent build quality and nice foam earcups. 5. Type C charger. Cons ----- 1. Tad expensive. Details -------- Fit and finish is great, this is mostly plastic and has a metal band. This fits my large head pretty well without any fatigue when wearing longer term. The earcup cushions are nice and plush. Setup is easy and love the exterior buttons for Bluetooth pairing, Mode , volume knobs and power. The LED indicator lits up when in use and during charging. The paring was a breeze for Bluetooth and with the connected dongle, its an instant pair I tried using the headphones in both modes and I can say that the sound out of to 50mm drives are phenomenal. Highs, Mids. and lows are very well balance. I used the headphones on multiple devices including Xbox, PC and phone and the Mic and headphones works super awesome!! I also used the headphones during my frequent zoom calls during work from home and the feature of lifting the mic to mute worked great. Overall a great buy for the price!

I thought this headphones was better option to my astro but the connection issues it had was by far the worst I have ever encountered. The mobile app was pretty plain jane and didn’t offer any useful tweaks on the settings.

Very nice headset for a good price on sale. Was only able to get the blue color on sale but worth it.

If you get this i would be cery careful with the usb they give you. Its very fragile.

First one never was not even able to charge. Returned with no problems. Second unit, sound quality was absolute crap. I would not recommend wasting your time with this brand any more.

Very uncomfortable. This headset is too tight and feels cheap. I’ve had other turtle beach products that were much more comfortable.

For the price payed for this is not great. Feels like cheap plastic and not durable!

Love every feature on them especially that dual connextion to your console and phone..

It was given as a Christmas gift and it has had problems since day 1. Garbage product, DO NOT BUY!!!

The Turtle Beach - Stealth 700 Gen 2 MAX is an excellent headset. Whether you game on PlayStation, PC, XBOX, Switch etc. you'll be set to freely go back and forth with great sound and battery life. Setup is quick and easy. You'll want to make sure your headset is charged up via USB-C, plug in the dongle and you should be good to go. The PlayStation should recognize the device and you will be ready to game. I recommend downloading the Turtle Beach hub for you PC and also download the app on your phone or tablet. You'll be able to update firmware, adjust sound settings and more from the mobile app or the Hub on your PC. Doing this will provide the best experience. The build quality and comfort are excellent. This head set is very well built, seems super durable and should last for years. The comfort is also excellent. I wear glasses and was worried about the earcups creating pressure points, but so far it hasn't been an issue. Of course, the sound is amazing. You can adjust the sound profiles in the mobile app on the fly. I go with the bass and treble boost and it sounds really good! You'll find all the controls, volume wheels, USB C port and mic on the left side. The mic has a lift to mute feature which is nice and the sound quality is good. Battery life is also pretty good. I am getting close to the advertised 40hrs of use before recharge. So far, I have had a great experience with this head set, and I definitely recommend it!
