For this price range it's very good. I used it for the PS5 and turned on 3d audio on the PS5. It sounds very good and they are super comfortable. I did not have sweaty ears after using them for a few hours . My head didn't hurt at all. They fit perfect, no pressure on the side of my head unlike some other headphones that I have used. They are glasses friendly i don't use prescription glasses but i did use my shaded to see if it was true. The foam is very soft almost pillow like from the top of the head i didn't get the dent like some headphones have done before. Turtle beach did this right. Now on the PS5 i did have echoing on my friends side but i fixed this issue by lowering the mic volume in the console itself. The mic itself is nice and can move a little closer to the face. The only thing is that your voice isn't as crisp as it should and if you have a fan on you will hear it a little bit even after using the app to surprise background noise. I wish the mic had a foam on it maybe that would 100% stop the fan noise. I was playing the call of duty MW2 beta and the game sounds good but i still needed to hear the footsteps a little better . No matter what i did something would not sound great even after using turtle beach super human hearing the other sounds got muffled a little bit. For the other games that aren't shooters this made the game sound better. Updating the headset you need the USB c on the headset and the dongle both connected to your computer. I kinda hate this as my laptop has only 2 USB ports .i wish they would just run everything through the dongle or even with the app. The headset has Bluetooth they can pass the update through that. So no updates to the headset with the app. But with Bluetooth i can get my phone calls in and hear my notification sounds while still playing the game i do love this. The app itself you can modify sound and use mic monitoring and other settings but you are limited to the EQ . Maybe a future update will let you adjust the headset EQ better. I did have issues when I would put the mic up to mute and pull down to talk it would stay on mute.

Over the years I've owned a number of wireless headphones, gaming headphones as it were, that lean towards the use with console, PC, or both, with varying degrees of success. In this instance, we are met with the Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen2 Max, which, I have to say, is a great addition to the market. To start, as these are marketed directly at Sony Playstation owners, the box art is leaning towards the blue, white and black colors that are the trademark colors of the Playstation and associated gear. This isn't a negative, but just a point of note, once compared with the alternative geared towards XBox owners. Turtle Beach has offerings in both markets, and both work with the consoles and with PCs through a simple flip of a switch on the USB dongle. When unpacking the headset, the packaging is relatively no-frills, the headset is in a sleeve and contains the accessories required for use (in this case, the USB dongle). I popped the dongle into my Playstation and way I went. There's no real 'set up' when using them with the playstation, it's truly a 'plug and play' experience, I connected them and they worked. The headphones themselves are incredibly comfortable, the padding on the ear cups is something else, extremely soft. Loading up COD I was immediately met with a depth of sound field, which is not a surprise because Turtle Beach is known for their audio. When playing on the battlefield and talking with my teammates, it's clear, full sounding and everyone comes through well. To use the mic you flip it down, to mute it, you flip it up. It's a very nice thing that the mic mostly conceals in the ear cup, as most headset offerings they are left to just stick out, looking like you've grown an antenna from the side of your head. All in all these are really excellent headphones. I have one minor gripe that the charging is USB-C rather than coming with a cradle at this price point, but honestly it's a small gripe for the quality of the headphones. I would readily recommend them to anyone.

I'm a long time Turtle Beach customer. I've had four different sets of headphones over the years, from way back with the X41 and their replacement the X42 headphones. These Stealth 700 Gen 2 headphones deliver exactly what you expect from Turtle Beach. I was a bit bummed to read that the PS5 doesn't natively support bluetooth headphones, kinda crummy for the price point if you ask me. So I rely on Turtle Beach then to deliver the goods. Setup is simple, mine came fully charged so all I needed to do was plug in the dongle (I used the back port) and pair the headphones. Pairing took seconds, and they connect quickly every time I turn on my PS5, I'm happy about that. USB-C charging is great as well, I can use the same cable for the controller and the headset, very convenient. Audio quality is excellent, music sound crisp and clean. I was genuinely shocked at the bass response of this headset. Play No Mans Sky when hearing space ships take off, I actually had to pop the headphones off because I thought it was an annoying neighbor with a bangin' stereo. Nope, it was the headphones, that got a "wow" out of me. I love the quick mute mic boom, super convenience to just flick it up out of the way to instantly mute your self. I'm a huge fan of mic feedback, and these have a separate volume knob for that. That means I won't be yelling into the mic since now I know how loud I'm talking. They're very comfortable. I played 2-3 hours the first night, and did not experience any ear fatigue at all. That's a huge bonus for weekend gaming binges. I haven't yet used the app to modify the settings, I'm really happy with it out of the box, but you may want to tweak if yo play FPS games and want louder footsteps. I really only play single player games so it isn't a big deal to me. Overall, you can't go wrong. The price is a little steep, but you get a fantastic sounding headset with some clever features and excellent quality. You can't ever go wrong with Turtle Beach.

Didn’t fit well. Headset did not adjust easily.

This is a great headset! My son and husband love it! I love that they finally made a usb attachment that us bigger and easier to spot. The small/micro usb was a nice idea but too tiny and so easy to get lost or misplaced. The headset is comfortable and connects easily to the ps5. It works great and we have no problems with connection or hearing others when playing online. If anything, it works pretty good at eliminating outside noise because when my son has it on, he cannot hear anything Im saying or when Im calling for him. So, if your looking for something that is noise cancelling, you have come to the right place. I would love to review how the blue looks in person, but unfortunately they sent me a black instead of blue one so if you want to know how the blue looks, I cannot tell you that. Other than the color, we love the turtle beach because its comfortable, works well and the sound quality is always on point. I would definitely recommend the turtle beach headphones for anyone looking to gaming headsets.

Connected the Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen2 to the PS5 in a matter of seconds. There's a USB dongle that plugs right into the PS5 and the headset pairs when you power it on. I'd previously used a variety of wired headsets but this was my first bluetooth headset on PS5. The pairing is effortless, but not instant. I did have some occasional cracking noises that seemed to go away after a few seconds. Once it's connected, the audio is crisp and clear. The superhuman hearing mode was helpful on shooters like Call of Duty. Be sure to turn on 3D audio by going to settings>Sound and selecting 3D Audio for headphones on the PS5 to take full advantage of what this delivers. It's mind-blowingly good and gives a huge gaming advantage for supported games. The mic has a flip to mute feature that makes it very simple to turn the mic on and off. As a parent, I love that because it shows me at a glance if someone is using the mic. The headset is comfortable and breathes nicely, even for extended periods of gaming.

The Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 2 MAX wireless gaming headphones had me going, until I actually got to use them. The presentation is great. They come with everything you need in order to get them setup and charged. A USB dongle that can be used in a PC or a gaming system, and the USB C charging cable. The setup was a bit confusing. You have to insert both the dongle and headphones to be sure that they are updated. There is a toggle switch on the USB dongle in order to use it for the PC or your gaming system. Once the headset is updated, you can start to use them. I downloaded the app for my phone, which has not been that great. It's buggy. Also, when I connected my cellphone via Bluetooth, the range is like 15ft at the most, or it will cut in and out very bad. The sound quality is great, when everything is working. You can take phone calls while playing games and adjust the sound for each device separately. I was hoping to enjoy this, but I can't due to the bad connection. Hopefully in a software update they can fix some issues with these. Until then, the Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 2 MAX headphones can't get the 5 star rating.

Dont get these, waste of money and i got them at a great discount price

I bought these when they were on sale for $150 after doing hours of research on the best gaming headsets in the range of $100-$200. I ultimately realized this one was a no brainer. I mainly play FPS games and this headset for sure provides an advantage when it comes to hearing footsteps and overall audio directionality. The comfort of the ear muffs are top notch, and i could wear this headset all day with no discomfort. One sidenote is that the clamp force of this headset is fairly high so that is something to keep in mind if you want a looser feel instead. when it comes to wireless connectivity, i have read other reviews that say some people are having issues with their connectivity being consistent, however i have had no bad experiences so far. And the bluetooth feature on this headset allows you to connect to multiple devices at once, and even take phone calls with it if you are paired to your phone. muting the mic by flipping up the mic piece is also a very nice feature. overall the best bang for your buck headset on the market, if you find these on sale like i did it should be a no brainer

They sound great, I’ve been using them to play the new Call of Duty and the peripheral sound is very helpful. I just can’t figure out how to mix the game and chat volume. I played with my friend and could barely hear him, and no matter how I turned the dials that didn’t seem to change. Probably my own fault and I’m missing something, but it’d be nice for it to be an easier feature.

These were okay, I would say the best thing about them was the audio and mic quality. Sometimes they had trouble connecting to the dongle, or would disconnect and reconnect for no reason. The real issue is I had these for around 1.5 years took great care of them, but for no apparent reason other than build quality they broke where ear piece connects to the headband. More e-waste for the landfill and 160$ wasted on my part. If you do a search you will find that this is a common occurrence with this brand. I have many headsets that I have bought for much less that have had nothing go wrong except the earmuff foam deteriorating after 7+ years. (And you can buy replacements for these) So tired of companies putting out garbage and expecting you to buy another one instead of just making a quality product. It's killing the earth.

Very good sound and battery life but can have problems with the Bluetooth not connecting

Quick shipping and arrived on time. Great sound quality. Have had for almost a month and still haven't charged it yet. Use it for daily use (social media, gym, etc) and gaming.

Really good headset if you get it on sale. Sounds amazing and battery life last a long time.

Man the issues are so many. Connection issues, saved audio presets dont work, terrible app, heavy and so on. Giving it 2 stars because the audio is good.

These are the most comfortable headphones I’ve ever owned. Battery life is outstanding and the ability to inconspicuously retract the microphone when not in use, keeps them looking sleek and sexy. Love the blue with orange accents, but the most important thing is how great these sound, especially when the PS5’s 3d audio is enabled. I definitely recommend!
