    Never buying turtle beach again. Updated they’re headset as the app repeatedly advised me to do so. Just to find out the update would break my headset and prevent it from every connecting to your xbox again no matter what reset or fix you found on the internet to help you. Even before this broken update that I never should’ve installed. The headset out of the box has many connection issues where it has trouble connecting to devices or loses connection entirely at random times. Even when turning the headset on for the first time you may have to turn it on and off a few times just to get it to connect to your Xbox. Pretty much a 2-5 minute process everytime you want to use your headset. After all that your headset might decide that it can’t find your microphone. Whether it’s one problem or the other, this headset is garbage and not worth the price point, do yourself a favor and go with the steel series.

    Purchased this headset twice and same result both times. I bought the first set July 2024, in September 2024 I had to return it. I used it one day, the battery was full and after I finished playing I put it on my headset rack. Went to use it a few days later and it would not power on. Tried connecting to the charger and none of the indicator lights came on to show that it was charging. Tried another charger and still nothing. Returned it and got another set in September 2024. I just used them yesterday and they were working fine. Fast forward to today 5/2/25 and same problem. They will not power on, will not charge. Nothing. I am not a regular gamer. I play maybe 5 times/ month.

    I bought these a couple weeks ago when the black friday sales first started. I'll admit the sound and everything about the headset was pretty awesome. I used to have the Sony Pulse headset but the sound on these are far superior. I heard details in games that I've never heard before. I tried to use them yesterday and they bricked on me. The headset doesn't turn on, nor does it charge. Very disappointed and will return these today.

    sound quality is great. Could not be a bigger PIA to use. Download app to connect to phone, needs location despite user agreement saying otherwise. Still will not connect. Headset needs software update for some reason. Can not update via android. Use phone hotspot to download update via pc. Requires administrative permissions over your pc. Repeat 4 updates, plug headset into PC to update software, must have dongle inserted to PC do so. never would have imagined a headset could be so annoying. Using Peltors in the military is easier

      Thank you for leaving your feedback! There'd be no way to update the headset via its Android or iOS app. A Windows or Mac PC/Laptop would be required in order to update the headset & its USB transmitter to the newest firmware. This has been the standard for our headsets for years now.

    Ive had this turtle beach headset for 2 years now and have gone through 2 headset. I wouldnt purchase this headset at any price point. I would rather put my money with a different company that puts more craftsmanship into there product JBL, steel series, astros, or an xbox kinect mic. Sound quality is okay when you first purchase and then its all down hill from there the sounds quality on my warrenty replacement from turtle beach is so bad i can even hear people talk in game and couldnt hear a single thing in game if my life depended on it,mind you my warrenty headset got here in may of this year barely over 6 months. If you’re a gamer that plays all the time or every now and then trust me. Everybody i talked to steered me away but i did it anyways since ive never had a problem. TURTLE BEACH DOESNT MAKE THE SAME PRODUCT THEY USE TO MAKE TRUST ME.
