I have a large head and the material can be uncomfortable in long gaming sessions. Audio can also be quite clunky and audio does not come out clean during loud game sequences.

      Hello!

We are sorry to hear about the experience you've had with your Turtle Beach Stealth Pro Headset.

Due to the wide variations in head sizes and shapes, it's not possible to design a one-size-fits-all headset that will fit absolutely 100% of all users. However, we consistently provide a comfortable fit for the overwhelming majority of our customers. Please bear in mind that your headset will break in over time, which should result in a better fit after you've used it for a while.

Garbage. Not worth the money at all. Mic doesn't work very well. Had to replace the mic within 1 month. Something inside breaks when you flip it up to mute.

Everything started out good with this headset. Good, not great. The software support for Mac is non-existent; the app will not even load. For the few couple of months, everything seemed to work fine. However, for the past month players complain of loud feedback, at times the game audio cuts out completely, and audio frequently cuts in and out. This can only be alleviated by a reset of the headset. The receiver is 8’ from me, so that isn’t the issue. I even have it by itself clear from other electronics. I absolutely regret this purchase.

    my new daily drivers

the good: - audio - Without question, the single most important quality in a pair of headphones for me is audio quality. Poor audio quality and none of the rest matters. (One of the reasons I tend to not not care for a certain popular 4-letter-brand of noise cancelling bluetooth headphones, considered by many, including myself, to be the most comfortable and best at noise cancelling.) These however, are in a completely different league from not only the previously mentioned cans, but literally any other gaming headset I've ever listened to. Prior to these, my daily driver was the Drop/Sennheiser/Epos PC38X headset, powered by the PS5 controller. I'll still keep them as a worthy backup, but the Stealth Pros absolutely destroy them in just about every way. In a word, sound is absolutely astonishing. It delivers an immersive audio experience in every sense of the word; crisp and detailed, rich mids and deep-and-dynamic-but-never-muddy bass. These are incredibly well balanced out of the box, with just the right amount of clarity without being fatiguing. The 50mm dynamic drivers deliver a dynamic listening experience I've only heard in much more "audiophile" cans. - comfort - My second most important feature in any set of over-ear headphones is comfort. For me I wouldn't consider them a perfect 10 in terms of comfort, nor are they uncomfortable. After long gaming sessions I found that there was no "hot spot" on the top of my head where the pad sits, which actually surprised me in that they are a bit on the heavy side at 396 grams. Short version...playing for a few hours was totally fine. The pleather ear cups get a tad warm but are super soft to the touch. Nothing stuck out as "intruding" on my listening experience, which is exactly what should happen. - build - I love the understated redesign of these, and in terms of quality they feel quite sturdy and well made. Mostly metals and seemingly high quality plastics, they feel made to last. - microphones - Here things get a little interesting. There are 2 on board mics (meaning not the boom mic) that actually work well enough. The only catch with them is that, though they seemed relatively clear on the other end, I did get complaints of echo and other ambient noise. The boom mic, however, is a much different beast. Significantly improved mic quality, zero echo, and greatly reduced ambient noise. It also has an interesting "flip up to mute" function which I found handy. No way to accidently speak while intending to be muted using this feature. - configuration - Setup and configuration using the mobile app was relatively easy and intuitive. Tons of features, EQ settings for different inputs, and the ability to save your own presets, and limited remapping of certain buttons. - noise cancellation - While not as good as some other noise cancelling focused headsets (Bose, Sony, Apple) they aren't bad either. I'm not sure how many would find this particular feature useful; you're not going to necessarily be using these on an airplane where this type of noise cancellation is most effective, but then every bit of immersion helps. At least the noise cancellation doesn't seem to introduce any other unwanted artifacts like buzzing or whine. - multi-connection - Going back and forth between bluetooth and the PS5 is super easy. You can even listen to your music via bluetooth at the same time as the PS5 audio if you wanted! - 2 batteries - The inclusion of 2 batteries is nice, and in the little transmitter puck there is also a charging spot for one of them. Essentially this means you'll always have a full battery handy, and swapping them out is super fast, on the order of 10-15 seconds. Drain both batteries? Not a problem! There's also a 15 minute quick charge that gives you 3 hours of play time. - included carrying pouch the bad: -none! misc: - battery life - The battery system is excellent, but players may find that heavy sessions back to back and they'll be recharging the battery in the headset in just a few days. For most people this won't be a problem, and as I mentioned earlier, the inclusion of a second battery all but solves this issue for most of us. - limited wheel/button remapping options - A nice option to see would've been a more extensive ability to remap say, all functions to any given button. As it stands, this is somewhat limited. - a bit on the heavy side - Some may find them heavy. I personally didn't mind the weight as the padding was certainly comfortable enough to overcome it. - "superhuman" hearing setting - To me, this is a bit of a gimmick. I found it to not add any discernable difference to detail, while killing the balance of the sound signature. I leave this turned off personally. overall: - Turtle Beach absolutely knocked this one out of the park in my opinion. Fantastic sound, great mic and build quality and good comfort have made these my new daily driver for gaming and movies whenever I need to use a headset. Easy 5 stars for me.

So I've been using this headset for the last several days and I have to say it's quite nice. I've used other TB headsets in the past and either the ear cushions weren't shaped right or the headset itself wouldn't fit the shame of my head. Thankfully neither of these are true with the new Stealth Pro. The audio quality seems to be pretty good. I played a couple games with it, Hogwarts Legacy and the new Horizon Forbidden West DLC and the world certainly felt more alive, especially when using the 3D audio. I might have set it up in my PS settings wrong, but I tried to the 3D placement setting where it sounded "right" to my ears. One thing I did notice was that the sound needs to be turned all the way up on the PlayStation. Mine was set to less than half as I typically use my Home Theater's Audio when I'm playing games since I primarily only play single player games. Once I did turn it to max, I was able to more finely find a comfortable listening level using the headsets dial on the ear cup. I didn't test anything like music, only games so I can't speak to the quality of that. There's definitely a good sound stage though that could also be due to the 3D sound option on the PS itself. There's plenty of bass, at least what I noticed when I was playing Hogwarts as the spells certainly have a lot of feedback. Vocal clarity was great during conversations, something my Home Theater has always struggled with for some reason. The Mic I didn't really use much again as I mainly play Single Player games, but of the limited times I did use it, no one complained of the quality during voice chats either through Discord, in-game or the native PS chat. Overall it's a really great headset. One quirk that I found, and I wasn't able to figure out on my own, is that my transmitter would continuously flash blue if the PlayStation was in rest mode. I ended up having to disconnect the device from the PS to get the light to stop flashing. The headset was also powered off so I'm not certain what was causing it. It happened several times and was quite the disturbance as it woke me up one night. Outside of that issue the headset has been great. The only other issue I had was that they're a bit tight on my head as they clamp down really well and don't move at all. More than I'd care for over long periods of use. They also heat up quite a bit due to this. Biggest thing that would help is different material for the Earpads. Many brands allow you to swap these out, this would be great addition for the next iteration of these as I didn't see this being possible on these or I straight up missed the feature. The biggest question is the price. Is it worth the $350? I've used many headset and headphones over the years so I'm quite spoiled on that front. I would say these would be a bit more attractive around $200-250. I don't know if I'd say they're worth $350 especially with the market being very competitive between $200-$300 and the quality you can get for that price range.

My New Favorite PS5 Gaming Headset

I have owned a lot of high quality headsets over the years, but I have never had the pleasure of using a premium set of Turtle Beach headphones. Their reputation is stellar and after using the Turtle Beach Stealth Pro Multiplatform Wireless Headphones on my PS5 for the last few days, I can see why their reputation is so strong. First impressions are very good during the unboxing phase. There is a nice soft travel bag to transport your headset with a smaller pouch inside I presume to hold you charging platform and extra battery. The box is so nice I want to find some how to repurpose it in the future. The headset itself feels really well constructed to the touch. Some might find it a bit heavy or a little tight feeling. But to me, it just feels like something built to last. There is an aesthetically pleasing charging base included along with 2 USB cables and a 2nd battery. Charging base plugs into my PS5 and holds the spare battery so you always have a spare one charged. You can also plug the headphones into the charging base so both batteries charge at once. Setup was a breeze. I had it paired and working with my PS5 in about a minute. When I first put them on, they did feel a bit snug and I wondered if I would have any heat or comfort issues. They did feel a bit much at first, just a little on the heavy side but within that first hour of use they started to feel more like they belonged there and were very comfy. The microphone is detachable with a little plug to cover the mic plug when not in use. Now onto my favorite feature that I think should be a new standard for gaming headphones. Your charging station can always be charging your 2nd battery. Swapping the batteries is incredibly quick and easy and it charges much quicker than it dies. So you should always have a charged headset. This feature is awesome! Another feature I adore is the volume control. Basically the right outside cover of the earpiece is a giant wheel you can easily spin to adjust volume. Such a great design choice that I didn’t realize how much I would love until I tried it. Finally, how does it actually sound? Obviously it sounds great, I mean it’s a high end Turtle Beach Headset! I have a couple of other high end headsets that sell for a comparable price. So really I think a better question is how do they sound compared to others in their class? Mid and high sounds are excellent and very similar to my other high end headphones. Bass however, I think this one is the best of the lot. I can really feel it while gaming. The spatial audio is not the best I have experienced. But the one I have that outperform in this area was specifically designed to excel in 3-D sound. The sound cancelling is as good as I have experienced. The mic is also crisp and clear After using these for about 12 hours of gaming I am really impressed. The Turtle Beach Stealth Pro is one of the best sounding and fitting headphones I have ever used. I really love everything about them. Unless you are really looking for cutting edge tech in the 3-D special audio world, you would be hard-pressed to find a better pair than these. These will be my go to gaming headphones going forward. The fit, sound, noise cancelling and swappable battery makes these my top choice and something I would absolutely recommend to a friend.

Pro: -Great noise canceling -Customizable audio settings on both PC and PS5 -2 battery packs for total of 24 hours -2 mics, a built in and the removable boom mic -Simultaneous USB and bluetooth connection Con: -Heavy and can press down on your head -Clamping force Out of the box, the audio sounds fantastic, especially with 3D Audio on the PS5. I can hear the detailed environmental sounds clearly and the direction of the sounds is distinct. I feel like I’m in the middle of the busy streets in Spider-Man, or I can hear the heavy steps and crunches in God of War. Sounds traveling from left to right, or back to front really feel immersive. The noise canceling is impressive, reducing all background noise significantly. Most low frequency noises are blocked out, while higher pitch noises, like fan noises, are less audible. Even dialogue from the TV is muffled by at least half. Unlike some other Active Noise Canceling headsets, there’s barely a hiss and most of the time you can’t even tell that it’s on. I wish there was a voice prompt when switching it on and off. There are actually two mics on the headset, the removable boom mic and a built-in one which deactivates once the boom mic is attached. The boom mic is the better of the two but it’s nice to have the option to remove it and use the built-in for more casual use. The mics are okay. It’s clear enough but still obvious it’s a headset mic lacking in the lows and doesn’t sound that full. The audio settings can be customized either with the desktop app or through the mobile app (bluetooth connected). There’s a lot of settings that can be adjusted. For game audio, there’s settings for the Superhuman Hearing and Noise Canceling. For the mic, the sensitivity and noise gate can be adjusted. There’s custom EQ for both the game audio and mic to help boost the clarity or presence. Lastly the functions of the wheel and multiple action button can be reassigned independently for the PC and PS5. Comfort is where this headset loses some points. These are on the heavy side, the heaviest pair of headsets I’ve owned in this price range. While the paddings are very soft, it still presses down on my head more than other headsets. The clamping force by itself isn’t too bad, but combined with the weight makes it feel heavier. I got used to it after wearing them for a couple of sessions. Like other headsets with the plastic leather padding, it can get hot around the ears for me. Battery life is plenty for my usage. It comes with two quick change battery packs, each lasting 12 hours. One battery can be charged in the transmitter and the other can be charged by plugging the headset directly.

    Excellent headset with unique sound

I have owned/used headsets from several different brands including Rig, Razer, HP, and coincidentally, Turtle Beach. The sound on several of these was consistently great, but it wasn't until I used these that I noticed a different type of sound. The sound on Stealth Pro, in the best terms I can think of, envelope you in sound. I've used that phrase before, but this is a new level of the concept. Instead of being directly on your ear pushing sound in, it's more like being in a room. It's airy, but full. Unique in its own right, and I've been enjoying every decibel. Are levels are clean and distortion free. Spatial/3D/Atmos sound modifiers all work well and being this headset is compatible for multiple devices, I get great use bouncing around from console to PC to tablet, etc. In summation, excellent sound across all devices and mediums in my usage. A couple other factors to note: App- The app gives complete customization. You can get lost in all the modifications, but I dialed my settings in, and let it ride. There was no latency in making changes on the fly, and I enjoyed finding different combinations for different soundscapes. Many apps are just minor add-ons. Not here. The headphones absolutely work best with the app. Comfort- Wore all day with no issues. I'm sure the "pleather" type cups will crack/peel over time, but in my usage, no complaints. Adjustments on width and length did not detract from comfort. Battery- I've been wearing for days on/off with a single charge. Life has been on par to my other loved headphones, which is a good thing. The notch above here is the ease in which you swap/charge extra batteries. No more cable charging during a session. Pop and power back-up. And the integration of charging doesn't affect the aesthetics or profile of the headphones or USB adapter. Well thought out. Mics- Both the removable headset mic and integrated headphone mics are super sensitive, but once again, customizable. You'll be able to pick up all your speech, and should you desire, any ambient noise in your surroundings. Noise cancellation- Be careful here. If you need to hear things(like kids) keep the ambient mics on, but low. It may defeat the purpose but once the seal is set, I heard nothing but the input sounds. Amazing, but a bit paranoia inducing being shut off from the outside. Excellent, sound, customization, comfort, battery and noise cancellation, these are worth the price of admission. A great addition to bring your console/PC/mobile apps and games to the utmost capability.

This is probably the 3rd headset that I've used over the last 4 years. This headset is the best of the ones that I currently own. For starters, it's multiplatformed. That alone makes it worth the money. My buddy has a headset for each gaming system because they aren't compatible or don't function as well when crossing over. The do have a little weight to them, but they are comfortable to wear. The set comes with 2 batteries, 2 usc-c cords, the charger and console station, and the headphones. The setup was very easy. The set linked up with the PS5 with no issues and I was playing within less than a minute. The sound is good...I do not have any issues hearing and the noise cancelling feature has gotten me in trouble with my wife cause I can't hear her calling for me to come upstairs. My teammates tell me the audio is clear and they have no issues hearing me. That's a big deal because my old set was either constant static or they couldn't hear me very well. The battery life is good and they are easy to swap out. You can charge one batter is the charger while playing and you can also charge the battery in the set by plugging it in. I haven't tried to play while charging so I do not know if that is an option (wouldn't recommend it does work...probably not good for the battery life). Overall - I think these are great headphones and are my new favorites because of their comfort, battery life, and sound quality.

The Turtle Beach - Stealth Pro headset are great! If you are looking for a pair of headphones for your PS5, look no further. The Turtle Beach - Stealth Pro not only look great, but they offer great sound quality, and best of all, noise cancelling technology. The setup is really straightforward. You'll be up and running in no-time. I love the looks of the Turtle Beach - Stealth Pro headset and the performance. The look is also sleek and adds a touch of class to my gaming room. Although it is advertised for PS5 and PC, they will also work with Mac, Nintendo, and mobile devices. You really can't ask for anymore. The ear cushion pads really are comfortable around my ears. Usually with other headsets things can get a bit uncomfortable after playing for a while. Well, these Turtle Beach headphones feel great even after a few hours of playing or streaming. Not only that, but the charging station looks great. It comes with a wireless charges that will charge the battery pretty quickly. No need to worry about downtime, the Turtle Beach - Stealth Pro headphones come with two batteries, so game on! I would highly recommend teh Turtle Beach - Stealth Pro headphones to anyone!

Turtle Beach have been my go to for sometime. I loved last years model and had high hopes or this years upgrade and it has not disappointed at all. So first up is here is what you get in the box: Turtle Beach Stealth Pro Headset Itself Removable TruSpeak Microphone 2x Rechargeable Batteries Transmitter/Charging Station USB-C Cable 6.5ft USB-C Transmitter Cable Carrying Pouch Quick Start Guide And The Turtle Beach Sticker It all comes nicely packaged and well protected if you were considering shipping this item. It should get to wherever you intend safely. Build quality is top notch, the headset feels very premium with a little weight to it but nothing to heavy for gaming sessions. The earcups are pleather which may be an issue for someone who gets hot while gaming but they are high quality and comfortable. All the buttons are nice and clicky and easy to distinguish. On one of the cups are the volume control wheel, the noise cancelling mode button, Superhuman Hearing/Mic mute button, power button and the Bluetooth button. The mic is also flip up to mute which is an underrated feature. The mic also has lighting to let you know the mic is muted. The Hub is well built and also doubles as the charger for the removable batteries. Overall build quality on the entire package is extremely good. Setup is a breeze, on the PS5 just follow the on screen instructions and you are in. PC is also extremally easy to set up. Don't forget to download the App on your phone and computer so you can tailor the sound to your liking and also keep thing up to date. The Turtle Beach App itself is very good and allows you to adjust microphone sensitivity, noise gate, monitoring levels. It also allows you to remap some of your controls to suit your style. Comfort wise these are really nice. Now like previous Turtle Beach headsets they do have a lot of clamping force at first and this will ease over a few days to the shape of your heard so while they may feel very tight when you initially wear them just know that they will loosen to your head shape. The ear cups are made of pleather which I mentioned earlier could be a small issue for people who get hot when gaming but they also help with the noise cancelling. I personally didn't find my ears to sweat while using them. Sound quality on these is superb. Out of the box I would describe the sound as more tuned to competitive play where they focus more on the highs and lower the low end so you can hear footsteps easier. Some people love this but I`m more about the immersive experience and you can tune this to has some great low end while maintaining the highs and mids. These are a very versatile headset and even work great for listening to music. The mic is also a step up up with good clarity and detail. Mics can be the downfall of gaming headsets but Turtle Beach nailed it here. The noise cancelling is head and above any other gaming headset I have used and love this. Again this adds to the immersion as it blocks out sounds around you and lets you focus on your gaming. One negative in the sound would be overall volume, they do seem to not be as loud as last year but hopefully that's something Turtle Beach can fix going forward with a software update. I love the swappable battery system, even though I've never had an issue before with battery life this style eradicates any issues altogether and with the hub also being the battery charger you always have a fully charged battery at arms length away. Its another underrated feature that I think makes this headset stand at the top. Also being Multiplatform is a bonus as i can switch between my PC and PS5 and while that may sound trivial it means you don't have to buy a separate headset. Its almost a one for all. Its just a shame this one doesn't work with Xbox too, you will need to buy the Xbox version of this if you own an Xbox Overall I really do like this headset, its comfortable, easy to setup, has some great sound though at a lower volume than I prefer. its customizable and offers a great gaming experience.

I've got several Turtle Beach headsets and by far these are the best of the bunch. First up is the fit - For me the earcup material is soft but would have preferred something that breathed a bit better but I know that the material used is better for noise canceling. After about an hour of game play my ears were warm and I started to sweat a little bit. The fit is a bit tight for my head, not uncomfortable, but it was a bit tighter than I would have preferred. I’m not sure I could put in anything more than an hour or so of gameplay before I’d need to take a break. The sound quality is amazing. I connected first to my gaming PC to try it out for a while and then connected to my PlayStation 5 for its permanent location. I found the sound quality extremely good and with noise cancelling ambient sound was all but eliminated. On the PC using the Turtle Beach Audio Hub software I verified the headset had the latest firmware and then fine-tuned it to my taste. There are a crazy amount of settings using the Hub software and for my purpose I tinkered with a few and then settled on what I preferred. On the PlayStation 5 pairing was simple and setup was easy with on screen step-by-step instructions. Once preferences were set it was time to put some gaming time in. I fired up Ghost of Tsushima and I was immediately immersed with the sound quality, listening to the wind and birds with clarity. After a bit I switched to Grand Turismo 7 and ran a few races with equally immersive sound. The right earcup has all the controls. Everything is easy to find, like the volume control wheel, the noise cancelling mode button, “Superhuman Hearing”/Mic mute button, power button and the Bluetooth button. Some of the controls can be reassigned to your personal preference using the Hub software or the mobile app. On the left earcup is the boom mic attachment and removable rechargeable battery, one of the great features of this headset. Not only is the battery rechargeable but you get a second battery that nestles into the included charging hub/transmitter. If the battery dies on the headset, you can do a quick swap and never miss any action. The other feature I love is you can also mute the mic by pivoting it upwards to at least a 45 deg angle and when muted you get an audible notification that the mic is muted. With full Bluetooth capability you can connect to your smartphone and use it to take calls. Not only smartphones but I was also successful in connecting to a Nintendo Switch OLED (Bluetooth mic not supported) and even my Steam Deck which is fully supported. All were easy to connect and use quickly. Turtle Beach tossed in a soft carry bag for the headset, which at this price point it would have been nice to include a clamshell case. While the headset has a ton of features and can be used on both PC and PlayStation (also a Switch and Steam Deck) the price point might be considered a bit high at $330 and may be tough to swallow for some but since it’s multi-platform compatibility could ease the sticker shock. Cons – price, slight discomfort during long gameplay sessions, soft bag instead of clamshell case (but at least they supplied a bag). Pros – swappable batteries with included second pack, sound quality, noise cancelling, controls customization, multi-device compatibility.

My husband is so impressed with this headset. His biggest complaint with the one he was previously using was that it gave priority to the game sounds and really drowned out his chat sounds at times. He plays with his brother in law so they’re constantly chatting while completing bounties and raids and whatever else it is they play and now he can hear him playing as day no matter how much action is happening in the game. The in game sounds are incredibly magnified now as well. He can hear his own footsteps so he knows when to be sneakier, and he can hear his enemies from farther away so his accuracy has improved with better detection. The detachable mic is great to have as well, he prefers to be able to flip it up to mute so he keeps the optional mic plugged in all the time. The mic does a great job of noise canceling so if I’m in the other room listening to music or watching TV I can keep it as loud as I’ve wanted and whoever is in the chat can’t hear whatever noise I’m making. The headset itself is very comfortable and fits nicely, my husband said it feels like it was designed for his particular head shape. Setup out of the box was fairly simple, we did run into a snag when trying to connect to the PS5 because we had the cord connected to the charge only port but we quickly figured it out and got it swapped around. We finished the pairing process in less than two minutes and my husband was able to start playing soon after. Both my husband and I highly recommend this headset. It beats all the other ones he’s ever used in the past. Everything he hears is clearer and overall better, and the noise stays isolated in the headset so I don’t have to hear it when I’m sitting next to him. Go get one for yourself!

I could not wait to use these headphones! I was amazed at the high quality materials these headphones were built with. I love that these headphones are not super light and has a nice weight on them. I really hate those headphones they cost a lot and are extremely light and cheap feeling. I actually like to feel a little bit of weight on my head when I put on headphones. I've had a lot of headphones over the years with noise cancellation feature, but these are phenomenal! I literally couldn't hear anything outside of the game while playing with these headphones! I really love the touch volume button on the side of the headphones, which is pretty basic but I think it's a cool feature, and I love you adjustable mic. Playing call of duty, you can literally hear every sound in the game! I literally hear stuff that I've never heard when playing with my other headphones. Also while playing watch dogs, I heard a lot of different styles in the background that I haven't heard when I beat it the first time. The only small thing I don't like, is where the mute button is. But everything else is great, including how easy it was to connect.
