First impression of the Turtle Beach Stealth Pro is that they look an feel like premium headphones. Weight, sturdiness, and minimal obtrusive lighting are all pluses in my book. Putting them on was a bit uncomfortable and got even more so after an hour of gaming. The pressure is pretty tight for folks with wide heads, which is me. These required a few days of sitting spread on a bookshelf speaker to loosen them up for better comfort. The earpads are pleather. While great for noise isolation, they keep all the heat in. Since I run a little hotter than the average person, my ears started getting a little sweaty after 20 min. I don't know how well the noise cancelling would work with velor pads, but I'd love to get a set if they become available. As for sound quality, without any tweaks it was mild on the base and high on the higher freqs. Which is preferred in competition to amplify far away gunshots or foot steps. It keeps what you need to hear from being muddied by the bass. Tweaking to a more natural sound is my preference. Turning on the ANC and the sounds were crazy clear. No buzz, ticks, or jibber jabber from the outside world let me focus completely on the sounds from the game. Hearing the clean sounds from the game is something everyone should try at least once. The downside, is that positional audio was almost non-existent. I could tell left and right, but front and back were indistinguishable. No amount of tweaking, testing could fix it. I'm not sure if it's a limitation of the 3D audio tech or the fact that closed back headphones are just that bad compared to open back headphones - which I normally use. I really wanted these to be my daily driver for gaming but the terrible positional audio makes me not able to do so. The sound is remarkable and when ANC is turned on it's crazy clear. But only being able to determine left, right, and somewhere in the center just doesn't make these the right headphones for me.

Good piece of gear over all. Amazing accusative isolation and reliable connection.

Imo it has better sound imaging, meaning a better sound directional representation and has the more adjustments once you download the mobile app than my audeze penrose and the 3d pulse with its ps5 equalizer. Only negative so far is its pricing

This headset has an audible hiss in the background. It's not related to ANC, and it's made worse when the headset is at full volume. Perhaps I got a faulty unit, I don't know. If not for that, it would be awesome. The sound is good and ANC is good enough for a gaming headset. Will be returning, however.

I think the product is worth every penny if you are looking for great gaming headset with all the features.

Audio works fine but the mic is the real issue. It works for a bit and then stops working. Getting it to respond again is very difficult. It's also hard and inflexible so difficult to position near your mouth. The mic picks up sounds from your mouth and your surroundings. Perhaps that is on purpose for noise cancellation?
