This Turtle Beach mic has been everything I could have wished for haven't had any problems with it at all easy to assemble and use!

The Turtle Beach Stream Mic is a nice multipurpose microphone. First, the design of the mic feels well-made and durable. I like the ability to have it as a tabletop or boom setup. There is a headphone jack on the back which turns out to be more convenient and a better reach than having to plug in a wired headset into a computer tower that may be sitting on the floor or under a desk. There is also a volume toggle and a ‘mic pattern selector’ switch to accommodate different sound setups, depending on what situation you will be using the mic for. Regarding sound, I used the mic on a PC in tabletop setup from about 2 feet away and it came out pretty clear and loud enough. I compared the sound quality with my current webcam/mic that I normally use for streaming and voice chat on computer games and the Turtle Beach Stream Mic was easily louder and clearer. So now I use this mic as the default sound input with my webcam. Although this is plug-and-play, there is an optional Audio Hub download that is supposed to let you change certain options of the mic sounds. I tested it on two different Windows 10 PC’s but had issues with the software on both. I would recommend this product if you need a simple mic that provides loud and clear audio when streaming or playing multiplayer online games.

Saw it on sale for $60 so decided to try it out since I live stream on YouTube and wanted a new mic and this one works great!!

This stream mic is great i love it, its great when you dont want to use headphones on your head 24/7

I bought this microphone to use with Cortana on my desktop. I was unable to get it to work so I attempted to contact Turtle Beach support on a Saturday. They are unavailable on the weekend so I submitted a trouble ticket. It said to give them up to 48 hours to contact me, which I thought would be Wednesday morning at the latest. After there was no response by Wednesday I searched the internet and was able to get it to work (most of the time). I did get a response on Friday which gave me a whole list of items to do and then respond by email. The microphone is OK but not great and customer service is terrible. This is definitely a "you get what you pay for" device. Do yourself a favor and buy a better microphone.

Cool mic for streaming. Has a great look and looks nice sitting on my desk next to my Xbox One.
