    Not happy with their service. They never called me to schedule an appointment. After waiting several days, I went back to the store only for them to tell me they don't provide that service anymore. This should have been something that they could have informed me about when I was making the appointment. Apparently the employee is uninformed or lacks the proper training to handle such request.

    Total waste of time and money! Only after hours of calibrating was I told that since my TV viewing was through the Roku you tube tv app, as opposed to through the tv directly, none of the calibration would be applicable. That is what I was told AFTER the calibration, and has proven true. I was also told I would receive a thorough calibration report afterwards. That never happened. An overall very disappointing Geek Squad experience, which wasted everybody's time and my money.

    Best thing ever for your TV

    We had this done for one of our TV's five years ago and it was the best thing we decided to do. Now every time we get a new TV we are going to have this done. It makes such a big difference on the clarity of the picture for the TV.

    I waited to get this calibration until the normal price of $249 went down. At $99, getting an Ifs calibration was a steal. The technician was very thorough and the color results are superb - much better than the out-of-the box picture modes offer. I would recommend a calibration for any HDTV - hopefully it will be at a sale price.

    No one ever came to do the Calibration

    No one ever came to calibrate my Sony TV. The order was open due to no appointments were available in my area. So the GEEK Squad closed the order as complete and charged me for service not done. I called Best Buy and got the charges removed. But it funny as to the date of the calibrations completion date was May 2, 2020. I do believe your company was in shut down during that period. It still needs to be calibrated. Would someone please contact me to setup a date for the real Calibration. Thanks

    No appointments EVER available to get service done

    I paid a heft price to have our several year old Samsung TV recalibrated. I received about a dozen texts and about a dozen emails telling me to schedule the recalibration. However, each time I tried to schedule, I was told no reservations were available at ANY time. I went to the store twice. I called the support line. I was promised resolution multiple times. There was NEVER a resolution/appointment made. Geek Squad is still advertising and selling this service but unable to deliver.

    I AM ONLY REVIEWING THE SCHEDULING. Not good.

    Ordered on-line. Took about 30 minutes on the phone to schedule. At the end, I was told someone would call me to schedule. I got the call a day or so later and scheduled. The window was 8am to 12pm. On the scheduled day, I called Best Buy at about 9:30 to confirm someone was coming. The answer was "yes". About 10:45 I got a call from a dispatcher stating he was calling for the purpose of rescheduling. I had waited around most of the morning. There was hardly an apology. Couldn't someone have figured that out earlie?. So I rescheduled. Had to reschedule again for my own reasons. A Geek Squad person is supposed to come this Friday.

    I tried to calibrate my new Samsumg UHD 4K tv to no avail. Found a deal on Groupon for a Geek Squad calibration and bought it. The tech was on time, very professional and answered all of my questions. Now the color is incredible, especially the 4K videos. I strongly recommend this service for a new or old tv.

    I ordered and paid for Geek Squad TV Calibration and the tech that came to my house did not do any where near the job he was supposed to do! I paid $249.00 for this service and all he did was adjust the color in the movie mode. He stated that's all they do for a calibration service. I could see no improvement in my TV and he spent only 20 to 25 minutes doing this calibration. I have researched TV Calibration services at Best Buy and other service providers and a complete calibration should take in the neighborhood of 2 hours. He said he would email me results from his calibration which he also never did. I called and complained and requested a new calibration but was told I couldn't have one scheduled because my tech had not reported the job finished. So I had to wait another week to get that process started. I was then told I had to go to local store in Vallejo to schedule an appointment but that same tech was the only one in my area, so they said someone would contact me to schedule an appointment from another area, The next day a manager from the San Francisco area called me and asked me about the service I had received and said he would contact me the following day, which he never did!!! Even the managers don't do their jobs and don't follow up on their word!!! At that point I had waited nearly a month, had paid for the service and had nothing. I called the 800 number for Geek Squad and had the luck to speak with a very thoughtful representative and he gave me a refund for the service. If it had not been for him I would never shop at a Best Buy again. I am a Elite Plus Member and have been for several years, meaning I spend a considerable amount with them each year, but I guess that doesn't mean much to them.

    I got this on a Daily Deal for a great price. The technician never called me to set up an appt. like it said, so I had to reach out. Increased picture quality on my 60inch TV

    Geek Squad came out and tuned our new TV after initial burn in. The tech explained everything as the procedure was advancing. Computer based sensor placed on screen that takes a maltitude of readings. Took a little over an hour ... The results are fantastic. This is the second TV we have had tuned by the Geek Squad and will have all future TVs tuned as well...Great Results...Thanks

    Do yourself a favor.just invest a few dollars on a calibration disk and use the rest of your money on a good dinner with your wife or whatever else you can think of.It will turn out better.

    8 weeks, still no service call

    Had to wait 5 weeks weeks to get an appointment and then no one shows up. 8 phone calls in two weeks, involving so many excuses and unreturned messages, we have another appt. Not holding my breath for professionalism if/when they show up.

    They never showed and never called. It took a long time to get the appointment and I had a 6 hour window of time I waited. I was looking forward to this as I have been told even though you have to wait for 4 mo after a tv purchase use this makes a great difference in quality of picture. I will likely reschedule after my disappointment passes.

    Calibration definitely worth it

    Having your television calibrated is definitely worth it. The colors are now very realistic and appropriate for the lighting in my media room. Skin tones look natural instead of orange, grass is a natural green instead of fluorescent.

    I could not see up an appointment online, I called and spoke to someone who was supposed to call me back but never did .My Geek Squad Agent tried to get me an appointment for July 10 th said it was open if it was good for me I said yes . Nobody contacted me or showed up so I would give this no stars !!!

    I have had geek squad install a number of items in my home. All work was done well, though sometimes pricey. Calibration could only be done by one specific guy. I had to chase this down for over one year. Appointments were repeatedly missed with no notice. The department handling calibration refused to contact me. I felt I was in an endless loop. Make an appointment, no tech, no one to talk to only make a new appointment.

    Can't even get them to setup the appointment. Really makes me wonder why I spend so much money on this company... Think really hard before you pay for any of their support programs.

    Good, Not Great

    TV looked much better after the calibration. But it was much more susceptible to image retention afterwards. Left image onto TV after 5 minutes of watching ESPN. Geek squad was no help after he left.
