The problem is in trying to get help from Best Buy to explain how to use it

After having agent Corey participate in 2 different Geek Squad services we were VERY disappointed in this last one. Bottom line - he sold us on getting the Harmony Universal Remote to go along with the Roku we purchased (which he installed in a previous appointment) praising its many features one of which was the ability to use Amazon Echo (Alexa) for commands to run the tv, blue ray and home theater. After we listened to his recommendation we went to BB and purchased the remote. Then signed up for the year of Geek Squad support ($200+) and made and appt for the Geek Squad to come and set it up. We specifically asked for Corey because he did a very good job in the last two visits. Well, this visit did not go as good. He was in a BIG RUSH. Rushed through the set up with little to know explanation. Then RUSHED through explaining how it all worked -- clicking the remote like mad. When that was done (and we were just shy of being confused on how it all worked) he was ready to leave. We then asked about how it worked with the Amazon Echo/Alexa. We were told that it takes a long time to set that up and we would have to set up another appointment (and another $49) to get that done. We were shocked because that was one of his big selling points for getting the Harmony remote. We had to idea it would cost us and additional $49 to set it up. Showing our displeasure he was packing to leave -- then thought better of it and began setting up the Echo. Once again he ran through it rapidly and really just did a cursory set up with only very basic commands. Rushing again to show us how to use it. Bottom line - we were VERY disappointed in Corey and Geek Squad as a whole AND very wary of the $200+ we spent to get the GS subscription for the year. P.S. after the 2nd visit when we were in BB to purchase the Harmony remote we made a special request to see the Geek Squad manager so we could praise agent Corey. So sorry we did - he surely did not live up to the good review we gave him.

In a newer neighborhood so had a lot of scheduling issues and took a long time on the phone with multiple transfers to fix the issue after I had already taken off work the date of the install. But once the tech came out the next day he did a fantastic job and was very skilled and professional.
