Not worth the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I found this service is not worth the money. They just deliver the tv, no actual install. Anything other than delivery is another package, so more $$$

TV set-up was good. Didn't connect to internet.

Left without connectivity. Recommended an upgrade to the router and modem. No one at Best Buy can tell me what we need. New router and modem don't solve the problem. Spent hours talking to internet provider, Sony and Netflix. Apps still don't work. We need someone from Best Buy to actually determine the problem and replace the TV if needed.

If the replacement television has the same issue, it may be time to upgrade your home network, and we can give you some advice on that as well.

Not what I expect

Best experience ever! Knowledgable.

Cleanup was excellent. Took time to show how to work everything. Answered all our questions. Very knowledgable about the product. Would utilize geek squad again hands down.

Connected, but more could have been done

They also ran a new HDMI cord through the wall and into my utility closet. They did not use the sound equipment which came with the receiver when setting it up and did not walk my wife through all of the controls and how to use aspects of the system other than pretty much turning it on and off. I need to dig into the manuals to attempt to figure out what was not explained.

TV connection was fine

I would not have known all the things to do since TV's are no longer just TV's. They are networked computers with big screens and a host of detailed settings needed to optimize the viewing result.

So-So TV hook up

Extremely happy with installers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The 2 service installers, Kevin & Kevin, were extremely neat when unpacking the packages, and made sure everything was cleaned up before they left. They were very personable and made sure we understood how to use our new tv and the perks Direct TV gave us.

Very late arrival time way past the arrival window

May not have been his fault but someone else should have been sent in his place. $99 to wait four hours is not something I will sign up for again. Bad service and bad procedures to say the least. Once second guy got here the installation was fine. Although over last few weeks several functions stopped working due to cables not being inserted all the way and coming loose. Took me forever to troubleshoot that and bay is why I paid someone to do the set up. Regardless the very late arrival is unacceptable and will never purchase again. Was offered nothing for my inconvenience although I left work half way through my day to be at home on time. $99 cost plus lost wages. Thumbs down to geek squad procedures and lack of doing something to make up for this. NOT A GOOD VALUE. Will not buy again.

Geek Squad Is Awesome
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.They arrived on time and put together everything and then synced everything up to run off of one remote except for the Blue Ray player which still needs it's own remote but they connected it easily to the television and explained how everything worked.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.hid all of the wires added the in wall power kits to all of the tvs and connected new hi def cables they were prepared and mounted a 75 inch with articulating mount and a 60 inch with articulating mount for the bedroom with ease!!

They did a great job setting up all my system.

Most of the other thing they did I could have done but it would have taken me all day. They did it in a couple hours.
