Awesome service.

Their instructions were easy to understand and they answered all of our guestions!!! Great service

Worth the money

Couldn't believe how quick and efficiently Chris hooked up the equipment and answered all my questions. Worth every penny!

Easy installation

New Insignia TV hook up

Not so helpful service
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased a TV for a friend and thought I ordered the right service from Geek Squad to mount the TV on the wall. They ended up using the old mount and charging my friend for the service and did not take the mounting bracket back that I bought. Make sure you order the right mounting service when installing a TV.

Very disappointed with my Geek Squad experience
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We purchased a significant amount of home theatre equipment from Best Buy, including paying for Home theatre installation on two 65" TVs, with Sonos sound system, and Blu-Ray players. They came on the original installation date, and mounted the TVs, but then told me they couldn't do anything further until Internet and our Cable was connected, which wasn't until later that day. They told me they couldn't come back later that day to finish the job, and I had to call them to set up another time. I have now called our installer twice to set up a time, and each time they have told me they couldn't come when I requested because they were "too busy." At this point, I decided to complete the installation myself and am trying to get a refund on the installation fee I paid. I will never purchase any further Home theatre equipment from Best Buy, as you clearly cannot trust that the equipment will be installed on timer correctly.

bad sevice
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.first thing is the customer service at best buy is really really bad second I paid to have my speaker wires concealed behind the wall they told me the total price was 399 plus tax but when I got the receipt it had two separate charges one to mount a flat screen tv(for 149.99) and another to conceal speaker wires(for 249.99)when I called and spoke to a manager about why was I being charged for mounting a tv (which I was not intending to do because my tv is already mounted)he told me that to do the add-on for speaker concealment they had to charge me the package price with the tv mount in order to do the speaker concealment.obviously this is absurd to pay for something I do not need to get what I do need .end result the so-called manager could not solve my problem and I canceled the order and I will tell every person I know to not shop at best buy and they will never see a penny of my money again

TV set ok, remote set up terrible
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When I had them out to set up the TV I asked them if they could reprogram my Harmony remote. They said it could be done for an extra $50. The remote was 8 years old, but worked great, so I said to do it and paid them. I had to leave, then when I got back my wife said they programmed the remote but could not sync it as Logitech site was down and all I had to do was plug the remote into my computer. Well that was wrong. I had to download the legacy software and legacy java and spent 30 minutes programming the remote,doing what I paid them to do. I called the tech and left voice mail that they did not do what I paid them for and wanted a $50 credit. She wanted to come back out, not sure why. I texted her again that I did it myself when I got back on town. Really disappointed I did not get the $50 credited. I do not mind paying for good service, but in this case I got nothing for my money.

Very good

The tv is good But ...

Which they told me the Geek squad would do the install. The tv was 75 inches. He did not program the tv. Left me with 4 remotes to use. Geek squard came and fixed everything. They were great.

Geek Squad is Great

Ok but overpriced

Save a few hundred bucks... but if you can’t do that... these guys are ok but in a rush, they actually damaged our first tv that required a replacement - it’s about speed vs quality... I would go somewhere else.
