THIRD PARTY AWFUL, DON'T ALLOW THEM IN YOUR HOME.

Geek Squad never showed up and avoided the service
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I rate this NO stars. I purchased this service on 12-08-20 for mounting on 12-19-20. They did not show up. It took an accumulation of 10 hours on the phone to get NO acceptable action. I had to drive 600 miles to do the mount myself. Not including having to go to the store in a pandemic to retrieve my purchase. Dangerous for a 70 yr old guy like me. I had to go to my nearby Best Buy to get a refund which hasn't been done yet. I was offered $100 gift card for my inconvenience from the call center but never received it. I could have bought the TV and mounting bracket cheaper and delivered to me before 12-19-20.

Wasted a day twice
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.scheduled install for 2 - 70" TV's a week in advance for 9-16-22 7A-1P, waited all day no show and no call until 4:40 PM, rescheduled for the next Friday 9-23 again 7A-1P, told wed be 1st, no call no show until 4:30 PM, installer showed up at 5PM to install 2 - 70" TVs ALONE. Poor customer service, poor communication. Nobody wants to acknowledge deficiencies, horrible online and phone service, got passed around like a football. Will NOT go thru this again EVER

Geek Squad sucks

I had taken off of work on 6 occasions to have installation of a television and hook up to an existing theatre. On 4 occasions, Best Buy has sent the wrong person for installation. On the 2 other occasions, the person said that they had come and no one was home! Really. Worst serviceI have ever seen and would never buty a product from them again

Too good to be true…
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you purchase the Geek Squad tech coverage be warned… If you try to use it after your initial purchase in store the service is very difficult to schedule and it’s when it’s convenient for THEIR schedule not yours to do the work. Moreover, you’ll have to go through a lengthy question process just to use the service. When someone finally does arrive at your home they do great efficient work. Just don’t go into expecting all that’s promised when you make your intial purchase no matter how much you spend.

Installer was rude and installed our TV uneven

contract installers not great

3rd party failed to fulfill

Third party did not know how to set up the audio equipment properly and told me that it did not need to be programmed because “these new Smart TVs are so smart that they program themselves.” The techs left the box that the tv came in on the floor and did not offer to take it down, that last words before leaving were “you’ll get a text asking for a review. Please give me all 10’s”. BB needs to do a better job of not only vetting 3rd party but vetting their own techs as well. Some of the Geeks are neophyte

TV Not Installed after 4 weeks

Two visits have been made to my home and my tv is still not mounted. Currently, I am scheduled for a 'consultation' on 6/28/2023, a full 6 weeks since the initial purchase. I do not need a 'consultation'. I need my TV mounted. I have never had this type of issue with Geek Squad in the past.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.yesterday we received some TVs got some shady installers ( not Geek Squad as promised) and used our restrooms without our permission, we placed an order before this one and are are still waiting to get the tv installed been rescheduled 3 times going on my 4th attempt lets see what excuse they come us with this time so much Total tech free installation that's if you can actually get them to come and install your TV's

NOT HAPPY!

He cut the drywall opening so big that the plate is not secured to the wall. After phone calls and in store discussions, we are still waiting to hear a response back!

Don’t be tricked!

Then when a technician finally showed up, they said they didn’t know how to mount my TV. I had to end up having a family member come and mount it! Which they did with no issue! This is not a service, I would ever try to utilize again! They contract the work out to others!
