    Not knowing the best way to set up and connect my speaker system to the rest of my entertainment, I chose to have the Geek Squad re wire and set up everything. It was the best $$ I spent - no stress, no wasted hours and misconnections, just a job done w/ the experience of the Geek Squad!

    Great team. Setup the new TV. Used internet to assemble TV stand as it was their first time installing this TV. Cleaned up shipping materials, leaving the area just as they found it.

    I had various problems with the B&W Speakers and Marantz AVR that I purchased. It started with the Best Buy Geek Squad installation on Wednesday 7/14/2021 (over three months after I ordered them). At first he had the left and right front speakers reversed (even though the speaker cables were labeled left main, right main, left bi-amp, and right bi-amp), then the polarity was reversed on the left front, then he could only get sound out of the dome tweeter (nothing coming out of the four other speakers in the cabinets) and to top it all off he had everything wired through the tv instead of the receiver. He started off bi-amping the speakers and then, to try to make them sound better, removed the bi-amp wires and lost the sound again. Fiddling around eventually restored the sound. He tried switching the front speakers from “large” to “small” saying that it referred to the room size (I believe it actually refers to the speaker size). As you might guess, I lost a lot of confidence in the system. When he came in, I got the impression that he thought that he was only going to unbox everything and hook it up (he said that he allotted about 45 minutes until his next appointment). I looked at the back of the unit the following day and found that 1) he had the wires that were labeled bi-amp connected to the main terminals and didn’t disconnect the other wires, We also tried to use my existing subwoofer but when he disconnected it at the sub, he didn’t disconnect it at the back of the receiver. I’m not sure if he reprogrammed everything correctly (removing the sub from the setup). It was a mess. Fortunately, when Nate Smith (my salesperson at Best Buy) called me afterward to ask how I liked it and I told him how dissatisfied I was, he offered to come to my house and re-set up everything. He came to my house after he got off work on Saturday. I think all is set up correctly now but I’m still not happy with the sound for music (very little bass), and tv (the center channel speaker is on sometimes, off sometimes, and commercials sometimes are clear on the center channel but muffled on the tv program. I understand that these B&W speakers require a significant “recording” (break in) period. I read a review that was on point, that out of the box the speakers “sounded flat, undynamic, and stuffy”, but after about 100 hours of break in, they sounded significantly better. Nate talked to Jason at Magnolia and he agreed to extend the return period to 90 days in order for me to see if this helps. The boxes that the speakers came in were pretty beat up, but cosmetically the speakers are fine. I don’t know if the speakers might have been damaged in transit but the only way to tell would be to bring them back to Best Buy and compare them to the floor models (I hesitate to do that because of the weight and awkwardness of the speakers). He also suggested that the center channel issue might be my cable box so I switched it out but it didn't help. As it turns out, the center channel is silent only on one broadcast (channel 13 and 813 - WBTW Myrtle Beach). He also thought that, if all else fails, it might be the speaker cables, but I bought new cables for these speakers (Mediabridge 12AWG Ultra Series Cable with Dual Gold Plated Banana Tips (12 feet) CL2 rated – 165 strand Oxygen free copper). If, after a few more weeks, no improvement, he’ll bring out some other cables and see if that helps. I will also bring in the speakers to Best Buy so we can compare them to the ones on the floor. The good news is that the white speakers look terrific. I hope that, after break in, and if needed, a new center channel speaker, they sound as good they look. My rating of two stars is strictly for the Geek Squad installation. I'd give Nate and Jason (and Richard Stevens at Best Buy) five stars.

    Victor did an excellent job of the setup for new 55" tv!! So kind, patient, and followed all safety features upon entering my home. I would definitely recommend him to anyone! In fact, I would want him to setup my next tv!! Great job Victor!!

    my mother purchased a 55 inch TV and needed the professional installation she said that they were fantastic and they got everything working quickly and she is very thankful that she was able to get the installation because she is not tech-savvy and lives alone thank you.

    They were quick in getting the tv setup. They got it programed and ready to go in no time. The only thing they couldn't do was program my sound bar to this tv...not sure why they couldn't get it to work but at this point I do not have a my sound bar connected to the tv.

    I had the Geek Squad deliver and set up a 65" Samsung 4K UHD set and couldn't be happier with the service. The guys showed up were friendly knowledgeable and did a great job. Why risk your back and dropping your new set when the Geek Squad can do it . Well worth the price.

    After installing the mount into the drywall over my fireplace and mounting the TV, the Geek Squad guys hooked it all up and did a great job. They got all the inputs back into the correct spots and everything works perfectly. I'm very pleased with the service and professionalism of the Geek Squad.

    Excellent service getting my TV to connect to my internet. I have an older smart TV so had some issues getting the connection to work. Geek Squad was able to get streaming working on my TV and now I also have Roku. I would definitely call them again when I need assistance.

    Travis was phenomenal. We couldn't have asked fro a better experience. He took care of all of the installation as well as educating us on our TV and how it works. We would definitely request him for any future Geek Squad TV needs.
