I didn't know how easy this the ROKU TV would be to set up so I payed for the Geek Squad service. When the guy delivered the TV it quickly became apparent that the legs of the TV were going to be too wide to fit on the vintage piece of furniture where this TV was supposed to sit, despite being told by Best Buy customer service that it would (their measurements were off by several inches). So I had to quickly improvise and substitute a less ideal table for the TV to sit on. I watched the Geek Squad guy get the TV put together and all set up and running and learned that it was pretty easy and something I could definitely do on my own. The whole reason I had ordered a smallish 32" screen TV was so that it would fit on the vintage TV stand table that I have. Since it wasn't going to fit there was no reason for me to stick with that size when a larger screen would be much better for the living room. So after seeing how easy it was to set up, I unhooked the TV, boxed it back up and took it to the store to exchange for a larger size. I brought the larger TV home and got it set up myself. Could I have done it all on my own without first going through the Geek Squad??? In hindsight yes, but I am so engineeringly challenged that I liked seeing and learning from the Geek Squad guy.

John with Geek Squad from the Carmel, IN Best Buy store was professional, knew his business, explained how to operate our new Sony Smart TV, set up all the apps for us, programmed the new Sony TV remote to work with DirectTV, AND overall did a stellar job! He is really really good!

The Geek Squad arrived on time and completed the installation in record time. They were very thorough and clean and the work went very smoothly. They set up the TV remote control and they even set up an old Polaroid VCR/DVD player that I had, and got it to work on the new TV too! They gave me a brief training session and answered all of my questions. What a great job they did.

The Geek Squad installed my new Samsung TV, Onkyo receiver and several other components. They worked quickly and neatly (they put on shoe covers to protect my floors). When there was a slight problem with the speaker hookup a couple of days later, they came out and quickly resolved it. Good, knowledgeable guys - courteous, patient (explaining how all those components work).

The Geek Squad bought the TV in did all of the setup. They showed me how different functions on it worked and how to get to them. They made sure I was comfortable using the set. a big thank you to the team.

The new equipment gives us a terrific picture and surround sound package. We bought a LG blu Ray DVD player and a Samsung receiver along with a Harmony controller. Still terrific to have only one control for all the equipment which includes tv,receiver, DVD player, surround sound, and CD player. Thanks to the outstanding agents Lynette and Ryan for putting it all together for us.

The Geeks delivered, unpacked, set up, and connected the TV to cable, wifi and fire stick in no time at all. They demonstrated its features and showed me how to use it. They were truly amazing. It’s the only way to go!

Daniel and his assistant did an outstanding job of installing my TV and Sound Bar. When he was finished we went through the process of how to operate the TV and my DirecTV connection. It all works seamlessly! Very simple to use the TV and Sound Bar.

The agents had to carry the tv upstairs before unboxing and setting it on the stand and did a very careful job. They praised the stand we bought for it and offered suggestions on how to best use it. In addition, they connected a player, tested the remote, offered to connect to wi fi, and answered a number of our questions.

The tech people were (both times) polite and knowledgeable. They set up the tv and sound system. Levi Giles deserves a pay raise…very good at his job!

They arrived right on time, offered to put on booties to protect my floors. They went right to work installing and setting up my new LG 4K TV, relling me progressively each step. They were quick and efficient. When they were done, they showed me the many new features and made sure I could fully operate the new system. I was impressed.

THIS SET UP COULD NOT HAVE GONE ANY SMOOTHER. THE TWO GUYS WERE ON TIME AND HAD EVERYTHING READY TO ROCK IN IN A VERY SHORT TIME. OBVIOUSLY, THIS PAIR KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING AND WORKED WELL AS A TEAM. IT WAS SATISFYING TO KNOW THE DELIVERY AND SET UP FEE WAS WELL WORTH IT AND I AM CONFIDENT THE INSTALLTION WAS CORRECTLY DONE. GREAT JOB.

im very happy with this TCL 50 INCH QLED class 5 series the picture quality is excellent the clarity is great also. it is easy to operate if you read all the directions and settings involved i got a great price overall for a qled tv.

Overall a great experience. The Geek Squad was very knowledgeable and helpful. Excellent with there patience and showing how the new television and remote works. So many new buttons and apps ☺️. I’m glad we took the option to have them install everything and would definitely recommend.

This is more for the service call after I installed the TV myself personally. I had difficulty with connecting to the internet. The service rep came out and looked for the problem but it had gone away before he arrived. Nevertheless we went through all of this system and settings to ensure that everything was okay and hopefully would not occur again. As usual, the representative was very professional, highly knowledgeable and really made you feel like you were important and a true customer who was respected. now that I've experienced the Best Buy service programs in The geek squad in particular, I will probably not set foot in another store to buy a television or appliance. Finally, the investment in The geek squad and my other protective coverages was the best bargain I've ever bought.

The young man, who did the set-up was knowledgeable, professional and personable. I had been disappointed with Geek Squad in the past, but he redeemed them!

Geek Squad Agents did a great job installing and setting up the TV. They spent time with us making sure we were able to maneuver around the TV stations with the remote.

After previously buying and setting up tv with another vendor, discovered operating system wouldn’t function, and we had to find a way to get tv back to seller ourselves. Having learned our lesson we bought same tv at best buy using their home delivery and set up. They set tv up efficiently, and connected all external devices and remotes to work with it. The only thing they couldn’t accomplish was getting our old sound bar to work with it. We found tv sound adequate, but you should investigate whether your sound bar has proper connections, or just buy the one that goes with it.

The Geek Squad tech communicated well by phone so I knew when he would arrive. He was friendly, fast and helpful. He answered all our questions, demonstrated how to use the remote, and made helpful suggestions, etc. He also cleaned up all the packing materials and took them with him. Great tech!
