    All went well. So thankful to have them do what they do. A few days after I ran into an audio connection issue that wasn't there before however it didn't take much to fix it myself. Professional!

    I was greeted quickly by the sales staff when I entered the store. I was given answers to all of the question that I asked. The sales staff seem to have knowledge of all the products.

    Heavy color saturation. The 4K is good but not that much better than my old HD set. Considering the higher price I was expecting more.

    Having seen and heard about the Geek Squad for several years. We decided to have them "set up" our new Sony OLED TV. The sales team said the Geek Squad will not only set up the TV, but also our sound system, Wi-fi connection and apps. They will also "walk us thru" each section of the TV usage so that we'd become knowledgeable for future adjustments. We own a Sony surround sound system that we have used for our current Sony TV. We've owned Sony TVs for many years and remained brand loyal. The Sales team said not to worry as it would be a simple "plug & play" for the Geek Squad. Nothing was farther from the truth. Our first concern came upon their arrival, Late by 2 hours after the schedule delivery window. Ok, we understand as things don't always go accordingly. We were expecting to see the Geek Squad Van, as like the one seen whenever we visit our local Best Buy store. We were a bit surprised when they arrived in a mud covered crew cab pick up truck and explained that they are a "Third Party Company" that sub-contracts installations. Ok, I get that too, busy times for Best Buy requires additional help. Unfortunately things went south from there. The TV set started with Wi-Fi connection and accelerated to showing the different screen options. When it came to the TV sound, there was an issue getting the sound thru the TV to operate. The Tech became frustrated as it took several attempts to achieve sound. The simple "plug & play" surround sound system was anything but and eventually the Tech said, "this won't work"...and then told me we should consider buying a new sound bar system. That our current Sony Surround Sound System is 8 years old and that "technology has changed". He said if we had any questions to give the store a call...and left. After they left, we turned the TV on and it had no sound at all. I immediately called the number of the Tech and told him what happened. He explained that they were way behind schedule and on their way to the next stop. But...he did have me try several solutions over the phone until one worked. Earlier when I inquired how long he had been doing this, he responded, one year, This gave me pause as to just how familiar he really is in the different systems he sets up. I'm sorry to say, this was far from what we were expecting from the infamous Geek Squad when we purchased this additional service. And far from our past experiences with Best Buy. In closing and in all fairness to Best Buy. We realize that every company has the peek times of year. But when you choose Third Party Companies to sub-contract your services, I would vet them MUCH more carefully as they are a representative of Best Buy.
