    I bought this TV for my 80 year old mother who lives on the opposite coast as I do. It was supposed to be delivered on 2/1, it finally was delivered and set up on 2/19. However, the people who pick up and remove the old TV took her old TV leaving her without one for almost three weeks. There were at least 4 appointments some were cancelled due to weather but we spent hours and days on the phone talking to Best Buy and the installers. Best Buy claimed the installers were supposed to bring the TV and the installers said Best Buy scheduled it so the TV would arrive separately. On the last visit the installer showed up, said this is ridiculous and went to pick up the TV at Best Buy and installed it for them. This is not my usual experience with Best Buy. It is usually a 5+ star rating.

    The installation went smoothly. Accessing the smart TV was longer than it should have been. All in all, very good experience EXCEPT there was no owners manual in the TV box nor were there any batteries for the TV remote. The tech who installed the TV said they both should have been there. Have to visit the store now!

  • Misunderstanding of Bracket Installation vs TV

    Be careful of the "set up vs bracket installation", I was under the assumption that the fee for set up also meant bracket installation but they do not, so they ended up charging me for the additional work. I asked about what the set up was for, they said to get it on the stand, connected to the cable box or TV provider, I was like that's super easy to do.
