    Not the Quality I expected from Best BuY!!

    The purchase experience was good. The issues started with the installation of the new TV. The geek squad was unable to complete the hookup to AT&T U-verse which resulted in us having to call in AT&T. It was a simple fix that the AT&T technician had to make to complete the proper connection to their equipment. We also purchased the haul away service on our existing TV. The technicians that came out to do the install were unable to perform this haul away. They did not appear to know that this was a requirement. Thus, we had to create another appointment for the haul away. On the day this was scheduled (Tuesday, 6/30), the crew failed to show up. They were originally scheduled to do the haul away between 7AM-1PM. I was contacted by phone at about 1:05 and they indicated they would be here by 1:30 - I also received an email at 1:24 confirming the 1:30 pickup (which made it late). No one showed up thus I called the local store who connected me to the Geek Squad about the delay. The Geek Squad attempted to make a determination of why the vendor failed to show up to pick up the original TV but I was disconnected once they transferred me to a 2nd Geek squad associate. I then again called the local store who took down my contact information and said they would find out what happened and get back to me - I have never received any further response from them on this matter. At about 4:30 on the original haul away date (6/30), I again called the Geek Squad. I explained to the associate that picked up what had happened, and she took initiative to try and contact the deinstallation team without success. She then created a new pick up date for 7/3 and also gave me a phone number of the deinstallation team so that I could call them on 7/1 to find out what happened on the date it was supposed to be picked up. I called them on 7/1 and, although they apologized for not doing the haul away, they confirmed the new date for pick up and gave me assurances that it would take place this time as scheduled (today between 12-6). They were here 7/1 at 12:30 to complete the haul away. In summary, the installation of the new TV and the pick-up of the old set were both failures on your part. I paid for both of these independent from the purchase price of the TV and would ask for some form of compensation for the time I needed to participate personally in order to rectify the problems I experienced. I look forward to your response to this request.

    While the set up was smooth and on time. The tech Seem to be in a hurry. Never explained any of the SMART parts of tv….very rushed. When I asked him If he had another appt after me, he said no.
