    The Geek Squad installed my TV and programmed the devices a message comes up that it is not connected. Sometimes it does connect and sometimes it has not. I turned it off and on and the message still shows but it does go away. They need to come back.

    Set up not completed by Geek Squad.

    The set up was not completed by Geek Squad. I was told that it would be done in two days because they were busy. My home health nurse set up my TV so I could watch Netflix, Prime, etc. I did notify Geek Squad when I got internet. I reminded him who I was and he said, "do you remember I told you that I could not set it for for two to three days". That is when I asked my nurse to help. Now that I have a new smart TV, my printer will not work. I ordered a new one to be delivered on Monday and Geek Squad to install on Tuesday, however it probably requires setting up the new Wi-Fi password.

    Geek squad outsourced job.....installation of dvd

    Work was out sourced, not done by Geek squad. When workman left it worked. The company and workman repeatedly reminded me to rate them very highly. They told me if there was any problem call them, not the Geek squad. Immediately after installation was done I went away for a week for Thanksgiving. Upon my return there was a problem with the operation of their installation. After calling the two numbers at least 4 times and leaving messages with no response I gave up. All they wanted was a good rating to get more work from the Geek squad. Probable Will Not renew total protection. Very disappointing service. Had problems resolved locally.

    Agent was very polite, friendly and installed the TV, but he did not explained how to use it fully. There was no pamphlet with "how-to" instructions to help me after he left. I called Sony and was helped.

    Failed. When tv was delivered no in home service was performed even if we paid for it. Then when they came back we already configured and installed the item on our own. The sad part was the company claimed they did the installation, set up and configuration of the system. Very unprofessional. It’s like cheating. To clarify, the company who was supposed to do 5is IS NOT the Geek Squad. It’s a 3rd supplier that Best Buy hired.

    The technicians that came to switch out the broken tv and hook up the new one were subcontractors, not actual Best Buy Geek squad employees and it showed. Every interaction ive ever had with Best Buy employees has been fantastic. The 2 men that showed up were not very professional and more interested in getting in and out than making sure everything was fully setup correctly. They left as soon as the tv started updating. It went blank sceen on me after and i had to look up how to restart and fix the issue on the internet. After watching them stuff the tv to be returned in the box, ill never purchase anything open box ever.

    Third Party could not set up cable on TV 2X

    This connection/set up took three visits, because the third party service provided did not know how to hook up and set up cable on the TV. After the first time, I specifically asked for a Geek Squad rep to come for the second visit, and the rep assured me it would be a Geek Squad person, but it was not, and those two third party people didn't know how to do it, either. Finally, I reached out to the local BB/Geek Squad rep who had set up my new wifi router, and he was gracious enough to assign the visit to himself and get the job done.

    Paid $ 149.00 for Geek Squad to come to my residence to set up my new Sony 55" 4K TV and sound bar. Just before leaving was informed would Not be able to use Sony supplied remote to change channels on my DirecTV. but would have to continue using DirecTV remote to change channels. No understandable explanation was given. Not happy.

    Set up of my Samsung 43" TV, that I paid 199.99 for was a big disappointment. It seemed obvious that the tech was not familiar with the TV nor the set up. He placed my TV on a shelf, paired my cable remote with the TV, and that was it! The legs under the TV were not placed properly, and the TV was crooked. Packing tape was left on all edges of the TV. No other services were performed as outlined in the BB setup services. Another appointment was scheduled. Techs came out, placed the legs properly on the TV, sat it back on the shelf, and once again, that was it! After this, I was promised a gift card for "compensation of the inconvenience". I've been waiting a month, and all I get from them is one lie after another that "the gift card was processed and mailed out". No, it wasn't. In the past years, I have found that Best Buy/Geek Squad has always maintained a reputation of great customer satisfaction. Today, incompetence and poor customer service best describes them.

    Worst customer service experience in my life. Been trying to get a TV mounted on my wall since July. I have now spent nearly five hours of my life on the phone or on chat with Best Buy personnel to no satisfaction whatsoever. I’ve been promised numerous callbacks, including one I was expecting today that never happened. The installer dropped the TV in my driveway and then put it on the wall and surprise surprise it didn’t work. It was then left on my wall for over a month with no action being taken on Best Buy’s part to resolve it the matter. Nothing happens unless I call and even when I call often nothing happens at all. I have been a loyal customer since the 90s buying for both myself and my business between which I have spent tens of thousands of dollars. I will never spend another dime in your store and at the moment I am shopping for all new kitchen appliances.
