    Initially I thought the setup of my 32” Samsung tv was perfect. However, just a couple of days after the setup I was unable to use any of my streaming stations......Amazon Prime,Hulu, and Netflix. Carl, the setup person, did have trouble with getting my WiFi to work and was on the phone with a Spectrum rep for a few minutes, the conversation was way above my technical knowledge. At the end of the day, I was told the problem (whatever it was) was resolved. Carl also insinuated that my new TV was not compatible with Spectrum. If that is true, you should certainly include that in the description of the brand/model of the television. I would have purchased a different brand!

    They got the job done but I had to negotiate with the Geek Squad agent to get him to do what he had said earlier would be no problem (running a cable line to a new location in the house). They also did not hide the cords like they are supposed to be with the Samsung "One Connect" box. But the TV works.

    TV and Sound Bar Set Up

    The sound bar that we purchased along with the TV still is not working. The Geek Squad men have been to our home twice and it still is not working with the TV. We now have to schedule a 3rd appointment for the guys to come again and try to figure it out. Just a tad frustrated. :(

    The TV we originally purchased was incompatible with our sound system. Geek squad told us it was, and delivered the incompatible TV to our home, only to discover they could not connect it. The specs were available to them, as we'd purchased the sound system from BB a few years ago.

    Wast geek squad it was a 3rd party and im not quite happy with how many holes it took to find the right spot to anchor the nails to hold my 85inch

    I am giving the 1 star because the TV works. But as far as customer service, this was a terrible experience. I live in NY. On June 18 I ordered a TV to be delivered to my disabled sister in MA. I paid the high fee of $149 plus tax to have it installed for her. The first delivery date they could arrange was July 1. On July first the delivery person called my sister and told her he couldn't find a place to park his van and would not be bringing in her television to her. Instead of contacting Best Buy himself about the situation he told her to call the local store to arrange another delivery. She did but of course they couldn't help her because we didn't buy the Tv directly from them. In the meantime I tried to call the customer service dept but kept getting a recording saying I was calling outside of their business hours. But didn't say what their business hours were. I tried the web site for another number or guidance on the hours and no other information was there. I tried the CHAT function on the website and also got a canned response giving me the number I had been calling already for two days. No help there. I tried my local store and they also said since I bought the TV on line I had to call this mythical customer service number. I finally had to go on line to arrange another delivery date weeks later. She got her TV on July 19, a month after it was ordered. Shabby way to treat a person that lives in a wheelchair and depends on her television for company. If you had any decency your exorbitant installation would be refunded.

    Requested surround sound & stereo setup. Order written as TV setup. When tech arrived he didn’t apologize for having the request wrong but let us know that he only had an hour as he had to drive an hour to his next appointment. Not my problem as we had paid over $100 for a service

    The agent mounted the TV and connected to my device, but was in a hurry to leave without training us. Attempted to text the crew for additional training without response.

    Not sure that I'm completely satisfied. My first smart TV requires more to turn on than I expected. I've talked to salespersons in store twice. First person said I should e able to simply press POWER on the remote But that doesn't work. Second person said I need to first turn on my cable box with it's remote before turning on TV POWER button. If I can turn on Netflix without turning on cable box in separate action, why do I have to do something special just to get into regular programming. I'm still mystified. This is a Sony Bravia TV. Before I can feel comfortable recommending TV installation, I would like more answers. Geek Squad always gets positive reviews from me otherwise.
