    Equipment delivered and installed.. only issue is one of the techs pants kept falling down exposing his butt. This definitely is not appropriate and happened numerous times during service. Very embarrassing

    Set up good but not the universal remote

    The set up went good,but the universal remote set up doesn't work good. I contacted the geek squad and haven't heard from them to fix the problem. The tech person said if I had a problem contact him. I would recommend geek squad set up but make sure they have a follow up check to make sure everything is working properly.

    Have had trouble with getting a technician that fully understands the complexity of my home theater. Best Buy is committed to getting it right, but it’s taking multiple visits to fine tune and the setup is still not complete.

    Installers did ok job, were quick to leave. Fixed coax cable with electrical tape, which failed after they left Cable guy fixed it later, improved pucture

    TV was delivered but setup was rushed and we have encountered a sound issue with the TV requiring us to contact Geek Squad again to correct the issue with the sound.

    Just coming back after COVID probably had something to do with to, but it did take three separate visits to get it right. The three visits was disappointing, but they did stick with it no questions asked. So all things considered, they did ok.

    The agents mounted the TV. However, they disconnected my Bose DVR player speakers and hid the cords. They told my wife I needed an adapter. I have no idea what kind of adapter and they left no information. Now I can not watch movies.....

    Absolutely HORRIBLE!!! The guys had really bad attitudes as if they did not want to be here to do the set up. They also refused to take the box with them when asked. They said it was not their job. That was a complete LIE! I called the Geek Squad and they confirmed that it is their job. Never do I want those guys back in my home again

    I was pulled away from the geek squad counter by the sales agent in the stereo/home theatre section to tell me, ""they", Geek Squad"", doesn't help trouble shoot setting up my home theatre system. Geek squad only does computer set up and such. Anyways, that I needed to use her "tech guy". So naive that I may be I go with it. Paid $280, for a guy to come to my home. Look at my system, not rearrange cables, not reaarange speaker cabeling, not trouble shoot hdmi might be in wrong port and thats why you dont have sound, not even turn Denon receiver on and TRY to address anything! Then tells me, "you probably don't want to hear this but you need a New Receiver. Your reveiver is out dated (10years old) and isn't compatible to your smart TV". Literally same TV thats been connected to it for the last 10yrs and trying to get the surround sound working again, due to teenagers rearranging wires/cords for gaming purposes, and I neither have the time or patience to troubleshoot the issue. Guy leaves. Nothing "troubleshot". Nothing working. I will be down this week to collect my my refund.

    asked if was hooked up right and show how to navagate and use everything they didn't look like they were any smarter than i was working the smart tv so i told them i would figure it out by myself

    I thought it was really too expensive for them to come set this up when we paid one other time for it. I just got rid of the cable and when we took the cable box away our surround system didnt work anymore without all the wires. Same tv same surround system

    Only the second time the Geeks took the time to connect and explained how to work the smart tv. Otherwise my overall experience with Best Buy wasn’t very good.

    Not the Geek Squads Fault Almost

    I was told when I bought the TV that it would work with my 63 inch stand it did not the stand needed to be at least 74 inches. They left with the sound bar connected but the remote wouldn’t work the tv unless I stood up because the TV sat behind the sound bar. We had to raise the TV and set it on 2x4s to get the remote to work I ask and should have been told while at the store all of this but I was not. They aren’t allowed to take returns and to return or work out the problems like this of an 85 inch TV was pretty daunting
