    So my tv doesn't stay connected to the signal. May be the tv (and I wrote a review about that) or, it may be that it was not set up correctly or securely by geek squad. AND, I have called and emailed geek squad about the problem and received NO response. Not happy with this lack of follow up.

    I am not sure the receiver was properly connected to ATT Uverse. Signal frequently drops for a half-second, but on a fairly regular basis. Would like Geek squad to check it out. I paid $250 for the installation. Tech appeared to be in a hurry.

    The agent set my TV on the TV stand and made the proper settings. He however did not remove all the plastic wrap around the tv and did not give a very good explanation of the remote and the options of the smart TV.

    Delivery showed up in drivers personal vehicle. He rushed through set-up. Refused to take boxes. Being handicapped, i had to ask a neighbor to help.

    Nice enough young man. He called asking to come early due to a cancellation which was fine with me. He hooked up my new first ever smart TV with my cable box. I told him I have never streamed before. I thought he would go over the basics, but he was in a hurry or so it seemed. I'm supposed to get three months of free Apple+ TV, but I don't know how to access that. Should I have gotten a "promo code?" That is what Apple said. I was on the phone for 2 hours and they couldn't make it work.

    The tv and sound bar are very good product. Very happy with them. The technician was very experienced and helpful. What I am NOT happy about is we believe we were double billed for the set up. The bill stated that the technician set up the tv and then set up the sound bar ( two visits). I set up the tv myself. The technician set up the sound bar and plugged it into the tv ( one visit ) and charged for two visits. Best Buy has refused to refund one of the set up visits. We will no longer do business with Best Buy. I doubt that the loss of us as loyal Best Buy customers bothers you in the least.

    The agent mounted it and did all the connections. When he left I was not able to operate my tv. I did not know how to get to tv or streaming. I went one day without any tv. My friend came over and had to figure out how to use remote. I was so disappointed. The Geek squad came out a week and fix tv so I could use it and made sur I understood remote.

    "In house" installation of an ordinary TV w/ TiVo

    I used Geek Squad for two reasons: (1) I had recently injured one arm, and (2) I wanted the installation done right. Reason 1 was real -- the two men handled the physical work easily. Reason 2 was a massive failure. They did only the very basic installation (correctly), ignoring all the needs I had made very clear to them for our particular setup. I did not appreciate being ignored and left with lots of work to figure out on my own.

    Unfortunately, I was in a hurry to get two TV's installed in my new house and I didn't want to wait for a Geek Squad member so I agreed to have one of their outside vendors install them. Big mistake! From the time he walked in the door he started telling me WHY he couldn't put them where I wanted, that the sound bar was too small, and that I would have to move some bedroom furniture myself. He said maybe he could make the wires fit between the studs. Bottom line: After 3+ hours, he did complete the job.

    They make you jump through hoops to get a time. Being DISABLED I needed my husband here and was told I was going to be one of the first afternoon appointments. I was DEAD LAST ( after 4:30 ) and my husband who leaves for work by 3:30 couldn't be here. The guy was very nice but I explained I really needed my husband here because there was no way I was going to remember everything. Made a 2nd appointment and again couldn't get a time to work so basically I was hung out to dry and this just proves DISABLED people don't matter. I thought 3000.00 would of gotton me something more. P.S. ,,,,,,,The times they give you are 7 am- 3pm & 12-8pm
