Customers are saying
Customers are enthusiastic about the large TV size and the professionalism of the installers. However, some customers expressed concerns regarding the installation process itself, particularly the subcontracting of the service and the time it took to complete. The cost of installation was also mentioned as a point of concern for some customers. Feedback suggests a need for improved communication and potentially additional support during the installation of larger TVs.

The team did good, but had to return.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good work, they were very patient with this old man. It took Samsung Service to get my sound bar to work. The bass on the sound bar is too loud; I can't get it adjusted properly.

Poor customer service
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If I could hit a zero I would have. Poor customer service from the start, to setting up service, to replacing TV. POOR communication at every level. I have called no less than r times to get the initial issue resolved. Next time o will purchase from Spencers.

No Geek Squad Service
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My set up service was NOT done by the Geek Squad but rather an assigned 3rd party company who did a great job but nothing on how to adjust audio and visual components.

The fee to install our new tv seemed to be to high
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The fee for the Geek Squad seemed very high base on the time and simplicity of the installation of a new TV. Cable and various streaming capability already existed with our old TV in the same location.

Geek squeak was not very helpful
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Paid $200 for Geek Squad to deliver and set up TV, and an additional $60 for them to haul away the old TV. They set up new TV, then tried to haul away our spare TV by mistake instead of the old non-working TV. They did not explain how the new TV worked, and did not set it up correctly. Had to call them to come back again for another $100. Very poor customer service. They should have set it up correctly the first time.

Only great service under specific circumstances
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Such as when you have two installers which helps with accountability or when the installer/tech is experienced. I appreciate the warranty on this service which is valuable except for the inconveniences associated with needing to correct issues.

Disappointed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed help on a TV stand. They were only interest in hanging on the wall. When we realized TV would not fit they should have re wired instead they just left us "hanging"

Bad experience
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had an appointment set up to have my TV installed and took off from work and no one showed up or let us know they are not coming. Bad customer service as well . The first appointment and delivery the TB had a broken screen and still waiting for Best Biy to pick up the TV and replace it. Overall a bad experience!

The Geek Squad Set-Up is a "Set Up"
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was not a complete "set up". Not everything was completely tested before they left my house. They were in and out very quickly - didn't spend any time giving me instructions on the use of the LG TV's "Magic Remote". No paper instructions to reference, either. New TV, new remote, slow learning curve - You all should know what I'm talking about... It wasn't until I began learning it myself (trial and error) that I discovered the channel listing Guide was EMPTY of channel content. I had to call LG tech support; they couldn't diagnose the problem source. Then they told me it must be with the cable TV provider (Verizon). Verizon tech ran several time-consuming tests, then ask me to pick up the remote that comes with the cable box and, VOILA! The channel lineup was there, but I still couldn't display it with the LG Magic Remote - why is that!? Then I called the Geek Squad, because I purchased a 2-yr warranty.... Sorry, they said, we won't come to your home to diagnose your cable provider's box, since that's where they thought the problem was. Hey, wait a minute... Verizon proved to me that the channel guide was there in the box, and I could display the channel guide using THEIR remote. So, why can't I use the Magic Remote to display it??? I still don't have the answer, but I'm slowly figuring out the system on my own time. It's just a major inconvenience to have to use two remotes, don't you agree? Oh, by the way, I also discovered that my Sony sound bar isn't working either, even though the set-up team hooked everything up, I neglected to ask them to ensure the new TV would actually send sound through the sound bar instead of the TV speakers. Oh well, too late. Geek Squad warranty won't touch that....

Walked in charging me more money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This service set up will be the reason I do not use geek squad again. Used them once be and they sent a 3rd party contactor who was very helpful. Used them a second time and the guy walked in charging more than what I had previously purchased the setup. Then proceeded to tell me he could not do what I had asked unless he charged me more. Disappointed.

Ehh, It's Ok
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Gotta say, the guys that mounted my tv did a great job except for when they connected the tv with the surround sound and other connections. Long story short, I need to use 3 separate remotes to turn on the surround sound, tv and cable box. Not good.

Poorly
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Set up tv, no instructions on how I should do things. Said if I had questions go onYou Tube. I am 80 years old but am very capable of some tech knowledge, but I was totally lost and still do only the basics. I had wonderful service when I bought my Sony from you.I never complain but this really upset me. The instructions are useless you have 20/20vision. Don’t know if I should return it for something less complicated. Sorry about my rant

Geek squad great, tv bad.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Geek squad people who installed my tv were wonderful. I say people because the first tv had to be replaced after 4 days with multiple problems. The second one does not have a great picture and now and then picture sort of separates and goes black then comes back. We’ve had this one for two months. Tv had a lot of wonderful reviews, I personally will not risk getting another one.

I ended up having to have a followup
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I ended up having to have a followup visit. I finally called Rockerfish and they walked me through the process to get my 3D working. I have to run it through a 4K switch. Prior I had a 3D switch, but it wasn’t for 4K I guess.

Geek Squad is a joke.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We sought Geek Squad help to get a new tv, a dvd player, a cable box, and a Roku all set up and working properly together for my elderly friend who was having difficulty with navigating the set up and use. The technician was there for 15 minutes, and did not give any instructions for future use, even though that was part of the request. No physical mounting was required…he just needed to make sure wires were connected correctly and help my friend understand how to use the new tv. He did ensure that set up was correct and recommend that my friend get a new remote from the cable company. That is all… for $200 and 15 minutes.
