Either by confusion or design I've been ripped off

I had bought and paid for a TV that was too big. I was told that TV was loaded but I was too tell the delivery man too just set up the one I had and return the other one and I would get a refund. Michael said he had to drop off the one I didn't want or he wouldn't get paid and it would be picked up later and I would get a refund. I paid an additional $105 to have them haul away the one I didn't want (still in the box) and have yet to see a refund.

Would prefer the Geek Squad

First off coming in your own vehicle looked sketchy. The products wouldn’t even fit in their vehicle so they had to unpack them. They claimed they knew well how to install this, but there was a lot of guessing. I found out you can request the Geek Squad. I highly recommend asking for them as I would never allow the 3rd party in my home again. They did get the products up and running though.

He missed taking the clear covering off the screen and frame, looked for it and couldnt find it, and his van left puddles of oil in the driveway. i didnt find the screen covering until next day and didnt see the oil puddles until the next day. i did call Geek number and was assigned a case# as the driveway will need some professional work done and was told i would be contacted within 24 hrs. we are now 8 days and still waiting contact.

We will request an on-site visit by a Geek Squad Tech. and hopefully there will be the image quality will be an improvement in viewing quality..

Got It Done

Lack of communication

They arrived under the belief that I had the items. Next, we reschedule and the store cancels my TV Purchase for not picking up in time. As for the actual installation of all items, the techs did a great job. The other messes overshadowed their work for my entire experience.

I bought a 65" Samsung QLED tv for my father in law who is in his late 70's. I live in Texas, he lives in New Hampshire. I boughtnit on line and added the delivery and setup service. The technician/delivery person did not have a Clue how to properly setup the tv with the included soundbar and I even spoke to the individual over the phone and explained what I wanted and why I purchased high grade 4k HDMI cables. And I asked him to please show my father in law how to use the remote and switch between the sound bar and the tv speakers. After i hung up with him the individual told my father in law that he didn't need the 4k HDMI cables and that it takes to long to show him how to use the remote, he told him to google it or look it up on YouTube. REALLY THIS IS WHAT I PAID EXTRA MONEY FOR. NEVER AGAIN.

Geek Squad delivered my new TV and setup.

Awful service

Theiis a spot in the center of the screen put there by Greek Squad. He wiped it but didn't go away. One tech did shoy e how to use the TV. Awful service. Always late even after calling to confirm.

Bought a Pig in a Poke

For $200, I bought a service from Best Buy for them to set up the tv and show me how to use the remote. They set up the tv, but left me with a remote I didn't know how to use. Therefore, the one-star rating. About a year ago, I went to the Geek Squad for help with my computer. The woman who waited on me sat down across from me, out her chin on her hand and basically said she didn't know what was wrong; it took about 5 minutes. This is another reason for a one-star rating for the Geek Squad. Best Buy had not treated me well.

Disappointed with Greek Squad advise.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The installation was good - just could not accomplish with the Sony TV & connection desired with my internet - the problem could be with TV Limitations - unknown. The real complaint I have was some advice given. The Greek Squad said to use the TV for some 2 plus months before I request to have the TV color calibrated. Have done this before on another TV with excellent result. Now without any warning Best Buy does not offer this service nor can they advise as to where I could find such service.

Poor installation

In the process, they disconnected by CD player. They also scratched entertainment center when putting television in place.

He treated the helper with him as bad as he treated me, maybe worse.

Unprepared Technicians Cost Me $50 Fee From DISH

But unable to connect TV to DISH Controller for Satellite TV Service. I had to call DISH and pay $50 to hook up TV to DISH satellite. Very easy connection to make. As many people have DISH very disappointing that Best Buys Geek Squad could not make a simple connection. Would never recommend Geek Squad again.

Some miscommunications

There was a mix up because someone forgot to tell him it was an OLD tube type tv he was picking up. So someone else had to come get it the next day.
