    Volume does not work On certain channels it is very intermittent volume is not available during programming but becomes available during commercials

    Sad what has happened to Best Buy

    The contractor you sent out to do installation cut a hole in our wall and then realized he could not complete the installation. Came back out the next week to fix hole and half-assed it. When I checked his work before he left he said on his way out the door “ I don’t care if you are satisfied or not it was not like I ran over your mailbox” that afternoon my wife reached out to Best Buy customer service through their chat, they stated someone would be calling me to take care of wall. Since that time crickets it is really sad what Best Buy has become I have bought many items from them over the years but as of this point I’m done.

    Luckily got it perfectly setup on the 3rd try. Geek squad is 4 out of 5 meaning 4 times bad setup out of 5

    No problem with the Geek Squad Individuals. BUT Best Buy has completely ignored "Customer Service". Impossible to contact them when necessary and when you finally do - it is totally "lip" service. Really a disappointment. As a corporation - they need to revisit.

    First of all Geek Squad contracts out the labor for this. I had some random guy show up to my house to setup my tv, no uniform, no card, nothing. I know the guy was just doing his job so I didn’t have any beef with him but when someone comes into your house and starts looking around and taking pictures of my tv on his phone (to show the setup was complete) is a little strange. The setup didn’t take long which was nice but the guy started showing me what it could do with my sound system and just started blaring music, I didn’t care about that at all. If you use the legs on the tv instead of mounting it there are three different ways it can be setup, the guy told me there was only one way to do it so I had to change it after he left. Worst part of the experience is this 3rd party that they contract out makes you take a survey over speaker phone with the technician standing right there! What am I going to say, he did a horrible job? The whole thing just didn’t sit right with me. They should tell you upfront that it won’t be someone affiliated with BestBuy coming to set up your stuff.

    Okay, so the Geek Squad supports was great and the new TV works really well. My issue? 3 free months of Apple TV+. The web address doesn't work. Apple doesn't recognize the free 3 months. Chat lines are full and there's no one to speak to. All the information printed out on nearly 24 inches of register receipt is either wrong or doesn't work. And this is a tech outfit?????

    The GUY didnt know a lot about the problems i had. For Example, i was suppose to receive 1 FREE 30 DAY TRIAL WITH THE FUBO.TV APP I "NEVER" RECEIVED A EMAIL WITH THE LINK TO DOWN LOAD THE TRIAL. ALL HE DID WAS FIND AND DOWN LOAD THE APP ON MY TV. HE COULDNT EVEN DIRECT ME TO THE RIGHT PEOPLE TO HELP ME RESOLVE MY ISSUE. HE DIDNT EVEN TRY TO CALL THE STORE WHERE HE WORKS TO FIND OUT ANYTHING TO HELP ME

    Took one hour in store to place this order!!! Geek squad subcontracts local providers to mount TV, and if the order is placed wrong which they did despite taking 1 hour to do it as store personnel still are not fully trained in this, the guys who arrive at home will not do it and charge extra for doing it. The subcontracted people are not always very good and have varying skill sets. I was charged for what must have been a covered service and because the tech squad entered the order wrong. I had to go instore again to dispute it and they said they didn't know why this happened. They did reimburse the extra charge I paid the subcontractors eventually but was a long frustrating experience on something that we pay extra to maintain a membership. Further - one of the New TVs I bought from them failed in 3 weeks and I called to exchange, I had to talk to 5 different people spend more than hour becoz once again they said it the install order was note tied to the purchase order and they had to find it?!!! I had it open in best buy web site and could see it in 30 secs?!!! Overall a very very frustrating experience.....

    Complete WASTE OF YOUR MONEY. I am a disabled senior and believe that I was taken advantage of by this service. The supposed Geek Squad “A Team” showed up, unboxed the new OLED television set it on a stand & hooked up the Amazon fire stick & left. No channels, apps or Anything was setup. I was told my fairly new Poseidon D60 surround sound system wasn’t needed because the tv speakers were better. My son had to come program the television & hook up the theater system… I tried and tried to complain to a human but to no avail just keep getting voice prompts. Why did I pay so much money just to deliver??

    I paid the $199 for the Geek Squad to deliver and set up TV. However the TV was delivered by basic delivery guys. As a result, I had to reschedule a new delivery date with the Geeksquad. Due to the inconvenience i was informed the $199 would be waived. To date the fee was never waived. After 4 calls no one can or will help me.

    Honestly, if they would have let me skip this an adjust wall mount the tv, I'd have done the daunting task of plugging in the HDMI cable and power cord... Expensive for the work they do.

    I’m sorry but this is first negative experience I have had with BEST BUY/GEEK SQUAD. Basically the pairing of the remote control devices did not work.

    While the men that came did set up my items. They arrived with an attitude. They never introduced themselves; they were curt; did not explain any operations of the devices. It was not a pleasant experience. While they may have been competent for the work they did not have interpersonal skills.

    First guy came and I didn't have my cable connected. Offered to come back but scheduling required several calls. Good info once they came but it's kinda pricey for the hassle of scheduling.
