They called me after the ETA to reschedule. Then I had to argue with people to get this rescheduled for the next day instead of 4 days later. Note I setup the appointment a week after the purchase.

Nice personnel, but total rip off for what you get

This is a total rip off in terms of pricing. I was trying to surprise my husband with the TV for his birthday, but all this guy did was unbox it and put it on my TV Cart. No help with set up, sound, remote, anything. I could have gone and picked the TV up myself and done what he did for free. BEWARE of this service!

Not Impressed

On his own, he wired the TV through the DVR, which, knowing what I know now, I would have preferred he NOT do. He tried to hook up the audio converter but failed, but he tried. I don't think that was his fault, but a converter the salesman said would work that simply did not. The tech person seemed in a hurry to leave, and left me with a raft of questions I had to figure out answers to on my own. His aid was better than nothing...but not much.

Totally Unacceptable installation.

Only one person an unqualified sub contractor to unload, move, and set up an 85 inch tv. Ridiculous. I had to demand additional help who arrived only in time to lift the unit to put it in place 45 minutes later and then leave. The installer had to spend time reading the set up instructions on his phone again and again and did not install the stand per the written instructions that he later took with him. Totally unacceptable.

unsatisfied geek squad service
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Agent delivered the tv, plugged it in, didn't properly connect it to internet. plugged in the sound bar and set it up, sound bar goes on when the tv is turned on, however he placed the sound bar in wrong location. The agent didn't explain the tv to my aging parents at all , was in hurry to get to his next job... nice guy but unsatisfactory service.

Terrible Service and treatment of a "Valued" Cus

They outsourced the delivery to an outside firm. One of the people did not speak English and the other did not know anything about the equipment. I went to the store to complain and the first manager promised to have Geek Squad come to my home. They did not show so I went to the store and was treated rudely and told I would not receive this service and would not get a refund. I have purchased many things from Best Buy and will never make another purchase.

Did not straightened my tv. It is tilted up

Both tvs are tilted up. I have tried to get in touch many times with the store but no answer. I was told to get in touch with LG but it is not the tvs but the set up. I feel they did not complete it. No one showed us how to work the tvs. I am a senior citizen and came to bestbuy for your service. You have failed. When is this going to be resolved?

Problems with connection to my Directv service

The tv goes black for a couple seconds every few minutes and occasionally has told me there is no HDMI 1 signal, which is the Directv hookup. When I texted one of the tech guys who came to my house about this, and how to solve this, he never responded

Delivery canceled

I had purchased the TV 3 weeks prior so I’m guessing I was sold a TV they didn’t have in stock. I canceled the order was refunded and purchased from another retailer. BB fulfillment process needs work.

Geek Squad appear too busy or unwilling to help me

I have had 4 or 5 appts so far and I still don't have ideas for what furniture I need to buy to have a TV set up in my family room. The last person who was supposed to be the advisor who would help me figure out what I need said he was just a delivery person, not a consultant. Then someone else was supposed to make that appt, and I waited but no one showed. What does it take to get someone to come and help me see what I need to get the new purchase of a Sony TV -- which is out of stock at warehouse now-- set up in my house? It has been nearly a month since I bought the TV. Thank you.

Set up and training was far from what was expected

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The set up and installation crew was not even the Geek Squad that I was promised. They were of little help in explaining what I needed to know. Since I had purchased a "Geek Squad" contract, a real Geek Squad person came out the next week. However, it was disappointing to find out that the TV I had purchased could not do the things I purchased it for. Also he could not correct the terrible problem with the sound and only recommended that I get a sound bar.

Best Buy service is truly terrible!

Best Buy had my money over a month before anyone showed up with my purchases. I asked installers for closed captioning on everything, but they did not provide it. Also the sound is not consistent; some ads and promos are hard to hear while programs are much louder. Tried to call to get this fixed and heard message that BB doesn't work on LG tvs. Feel very frustrated.
