Problems with Santa Fe Best Buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.No problem with Chad or his co-worker who showed up today but there are systemic management problems at Santa Fe Best Buy. I was scheduled two days ago, received the time frame and the text that Jose would be at my place at 10:30. He was a no show and no call to explain. I spent hours trying to get through to Jose of Santa Fe. (What a farce, not possible.) One gets a computer. Try to text and one gets a message that the computer cannot understand my message. I finally got some lady in a Tulsa call center who claimed she left two messages for Jose, but still nothing. She would not provide a number for Jose or anyone in the Santa Fe store. She claimed she elevated my complaint and disdain to the management at Santa Fe. Still nothing. After wasting a whole day on Best Buy i was able to obtain a phone number for a supervisor. Left him a couple messages. Still nothing until a day later. So being a good customer counts for nothing in Santa Fe at Best Buy. Contemptable customer service.

Not great service this time.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I paid for the TV to be delivered when the Geek Squad came to set it up. However, the big white box delivery truck brought it and advised that they do not set it up. This happened twice. Finally, after calling the Best Buy number, I was able to set it up. Setup was ok, but he gave me very little help with explaining the on/off and navigation of the TV. He seemed to be hurried as he stated that he had one more place to go and it was 5-5:30.

schedulers should speak English distinctly

It was the scheduling and deliveries that were messed up. It should not take 31 days from purchase to installation plus the 3 days I had to wait for the service personnel.

Service not up to standards

Took 2 weeks to get it together.

Geek Squad Service the WORST in the world!!!

Geek Squad outsourced the job to someone else, who failed to complete the install completely leading to nothing but problems. I have telephoned Geek Squad a number of times to try and resolve the problem, to get nothing but hassles. I have to use 5 different remotes for my theater system, when we should use the one universal we purchased. My soundbar does not stay connected to the TV and we have to reconnect to the input system, and completely fails to work if the TV is paused for just a few moments. The Bluetooth to the soundbar has NEVER worked. And, here we are almost a year later and my $8000 TV does not work at all. Now Geek Squad wants to charge me to send someone out to fix the problem. Really??? Telephone support was awful. Put on hold continually. Out of being on the phone for over an hour, I probably had maybe 10 min of time actually speaking with someone, with no resolution other than to say they are happy to set up another appointment, which I will have to pay for. I declined and will find another provider to assist me. Will never use again, and would never recommend their service.

Bad Mount of TV

Not the Geek Squad.

Felt like he was rushing to get done and out. Asked to set Roku up and made it sound like he wasnt suppose to do that but would. Couldnt get antenna stations to work. Offered suggestions and we got it to work.

Best Buy screw up

The installers had to use my old vent pipe on my new drier. Poor planning and quality control. I need the correct vent pipe to be installed I cannot get any satisfaction talking to the Geek Squad on my phone so this 83 year old invalid man has to physically go into the store during this pandemic to get proper service, not good!

Would not do again
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Delivery was delayed two days then the installer showed up but didn’t bring tv, came back next day with tv, I had to help lift it into position (paid for installation specifically to NOT have to do that due to back problems), I was very leary of comments and actions of installer, some of which were captured on my doorbell cam, and reported them to BestBuy. Love the tv but installation was disconcerting.

Hurried job

I didn’t know I had a fire stick TV that had to have an Amazon account. I had to get my Amazon account figure out how to hook it up to the TV and get the TV working properly. That was supposed to be part of their job but they needed to get to the next job.

Incomplete Delivery and Installation
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Despite having delivered and installed to the same address with the same driveway several years ago, the delivery guys would not attempt the driveway this time. I had left very specific instructions and directions and instead of coming up and installing on the mount as planned, they handed me the 65" TV at the bottom of the driveway in a very remote location. I am a 62 year old woman who can not lift or move that TV, much less mount it alone. Fortunately a workman was there and he helped me get it into the house. If he had not been, I would have been in trouble. I had to find a third party installer, so it's up now, but very disappointing experience this time.

Professional geek squad personnel

Geek Squad

Had a feedback problem & Geek solution was turn offf feature on tv. Ended up contacting the manufacturer & was able to get everything working properly. Our cable company didn't have high opinion of Geek Squad & no I understand why.

Whole process has been a mess

But the sale from the beginning was awful,,this is the 3rd TV,,first TV was awful changed to a different brand,,,salesman charged me $100to much,,back & forth to store,,,sent out a repair man instead of geek guy,,,charged me $200 for geek guy came out said TV had a dead pixel,,had to switch out,,,& now geek guy could not get a great picture THIS HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE!!!!
