    3rd party vender compared to good Geek Squad

    The 3rd party vender did not complete the set up of my new TV. He was not able to finish connection with Comcast Xfinity and left. He was not dressed as suggested and only had a mask. and no foot cover as Geek Squad personal when coming into a home. Xfinity agent was sent the next day to finish the hook-up. He was dressed properly with uniform, wearing a mask and foot cover. He was pleasant, knew what he was doing to get my new TV system up and performing as it should. I hope your 3rd party agents do not have to visit my home ever again. Now I need a Geek Squad to hook up my DVD and Receiver by WIFI to my TV that were purchased from Best Buy. I have never had a problem with any Geek Squad personal ever.

    Geek Squad outsourced my install to a 3rd party!

    I'm giving this service 1 Star and I would really like a refund because Geek Squad did not deliver and install my TV. They outsourced my delivery to a 3rd party company. Now here's where things gets worse. The driver showed up to my house alone to install a 75 inch TV that needed to go up upstairs. I felt bad for the guy and this wasn't his fault. All of his co-workers had other jobs and he had to call around for help. It took almost an hour for someone to arrive. I really need to go to the store and demand a refund but honestly I just don't have energy and wanted to enjoy my labor day weekend. Also for the record the 3rd party guys where very nice and did the install but they shouldn't have been doing it in the first place as it should have been Geek Squad for a TV this large.

    The Squad did not adequately explain the functions. When I used my Blu Ray and tried to go back to live television, the television did not automatically sync up with the cable signal. They should have tested it before they left since they attached it to the television. Additionally, they failed to make sure that all speakers of the sound bar were functioning properly. I eventually figured stuff out myself.

    I got a technician from a partner company and not a member of the Geek Squad. A nice guy who failed to set up the universal remote with three visits.

    Terrible service in getting my tv delivered

    I had 2 cancellations on my delivery without any reason. I kept in touch and was told they would be there but never showed. They said they showed on the second attempt but I was at home and did not receive a call. Not even a call letting me know they were on the way and no call when they arrived. When I would talk to a representative they said it shows it needs to be resheduled and no reason for why is noted. The third attempt was me taking an unpaid day off from work and when I called to check on the delivery (since no one bothered to call me through this whole ordeal) they said it needed to be rescheduled once again and there was on reason given. I talked to a few helpful people and out of nowhere I get a call from the delivery guys saying they were on the way. They did get there and their service was good and quick. I don't like your system and the fact that if anyone did call they can't leave a message. I will never use Best Buy again. I probably will never shop in a Best Buy again either. Your customer service stinks.

    I had the maintenance men at my apartment home install the TV mount. I wish that I had instead purchased a console table so that the wires would be housed in that. I didn't realize that I would have several wires plus the computer modem and telephone wires as eyesores. They could all be housed in a cabinet.

    In and out in a hurry. Not sure if they calibrated the TV. They did explain how the remotes worked.

    They un-boxed it and put into place which was a big help. They also removed the box after install so I didn't have to break it down. They went through the setup but it now appears I will need to do a factory reset to fix the sound delay and connection to the Sony sound bar. Not sure I would use this service again.

    Technician was quick & efficient

    The Technician was very quick and efficient in setting the TV up and hooking it up to the DVD, VCR and cable box. He even spent time showing me how to use it all. After setting it up, he cleaned up all the packing materials and just advised me to keep everything for about a month and then I could discard.

    Technicians were great but call takers are aweful

    My problem is with the call center. The technicians that came out were great. The call center messed up the pickup of the old tv. Spent over an hour on phone trying to straighten it out. I thought they finally had it right but the night before pickup I received an email to confirm pickup but it had wrong address on it. CALL CENTER DEFINETLY NEEDS TO BE OVERHAULED

    TV has an HDM1 outlet that doesn't work. Geek squad guy said to call Best Buy and I could set up a new appointment and they would bring out a new tv. When I called, I was told I'd have to return tv myself and set up new appointment. By this time too many days had passed to return tv.

    I paid extra to have the wires run behind the wall and it was not done. Unfortunately I was injured and had to go to emergency before the job was finished. When i got home the tv was on the wall but all the wires were exposed and not properly installed. As son as I was able, I finished the job by myself.

    The Fiji TV bench is very nice but is not deep enough to fit the Sony - 75" Class X950H Series TV we bought at the same time. I had a video meeting to discus a solution but it was cancelled without explanation by Best Buy. I am very unhappy and would like Best But to contact me or I will return the TV and bench.

    This was the worst experience I've ever had with any company it took over a month to get this delivered they canceled it three times on the day of hours before it was supposed to be delivered it was just a mess I would not recommend this at all

    Solar Connect Inc….not Geek Squad

    The two guys who came for my second setup barely spoke English. They were communicating with each other in Spanish the entire time. They were from a third party contractor solar connect Inc which is definitely not the “geek squad” setup I paid 150.00 for. The guy then presents me a screen to sign not even telling me what I’m signing for. He had filled out all the boxes for me including arrived on time which he did not they were 40 minutes late, wore shoe covers which they did not until I game them pairs to wear. Absolutely disgusted with the entire process of purchasing from Best Buy. Would not recommend at all.
