    Third delivery attempt. Typically awful. I had paid for setup. Delivery team didn't know that. Couldn't help. No tv now. No one will answer phone. First time: Delivery schedule was repeatedly fumbled. Second time: TV was defective: Third time: They sent only delivery, no setup team. Consistently, my complaints are met with one answer: "I don't know who would have told you that."

    They sent the wrong back, installed it, and now I cannot return it for the proper one as I cannot remove TV from wrong one. I need to have someone come out and installed the proper mount, take back old one and get my credit. I am physically unable to do so.

    Did not show up or call for 1st appt . had to reschedule for a week later. Very courteous but seemed to be in a hurry to leave . Did not complete set up . still have message that reads set up not complete when I turn on TV. Connected to WiFi but did not explain how to use it or the remote.

    The individuals were nice but extremely disappointed by poor customer service prior to making the appt. My tv was not installed and tv was 2 weeks late. Very frustrated. What's the point of paying for this service if it's not fully completed?

    he did not show me what all of the buttons are for and what thay are used for. when i went back to best buy geeks counter and asked to some one to show me how to use it, i was told it will cost 50$ even thow i told anthony have a years contract with them

    The guys didn’t seem to know what they were doing. Took almost 3 hours (past 10pm completion) didn’t explain operation of controls, TV or sound bar. Was happy to see them leave but kinda feel taken advantage of for the little amount of work done. Most of the time spent was for confusion.

    Multiple phone calls and visits for a branch new tv and every single time is coming back to square one. Everyone promises that it will be taken care of and it’s already more than a month without result. Tired and exhausted with long phone calls and visits and frustration because every single time it’s new to geek squad team. Don’t you guys talk to each other? Or at least write a note on my account? Very disappointed so far.

    In one word, HORRIBLE! After they left I had to disconnect the wrong speakers (there were two pairs in the front and they connected the wrong set which I didn't notice till after they left) and connect the correct pair. Then the sound delay was WAY off to the picture after turning the channel, ff, rwd, and un-pausing. I called the guy who gave me his card and said to call him with any questions, never heard back from him. Two many calibrations that need zeroed in that I am having trouble getting set so that the picture doesn't get weird. The reason I gave one star was because there was no option to give less. Not happy at all!!!!!!! Also I don't know why Best Buy asks for reviews because they do nothing about about reviews that are about bad service. Oh, did I mention that I went to the store and complained to a manager a few days ago. Supposedly they expedited another set up/calibration service call, haven't heard a thing since. Smh...... Again HORRIBLE!!!!!

    purchased service for technophobic relatives out of state. Tried to convince them they could do it themselves. Very pricy for what had to be done. Was overcharged for an HDMI cable >50$ for a monster when you can get them for around 10$. That said, everything works.

    He didn’t know what he was doing. The cable provider had to come and set up tv. Your installer would not listen to cable provider and kept saying he couldn’t program tv because of no internet or cable box. He was wrong and wouldn’t listen to any advice. The tv was hooked and programmed without him. He just complicated everything, never want him back.

    They didn't haul my old TV for which i had paid but lied about it by sending an email that it was done.i have been trying to get refund since then but has been given run around so far..called about six times.spoke to atleast 10 people...always same response of somebody will call back in 24-48 hrs but nobody does...just frustrating..dont trust the them anymore.

    Too overpriced for the quality of the work. TV was mounted crooked, and tried to sell my fiance on a $99 fiber optic cable because "the 6' one that I provided was too short" even though it has about 3 feet of slack remaining after I called them and told them to just use mine. I could have saved the $200 and done this myself in the same time, and with less problems.

    3rd party set it up and I have 4 bolts that were not installed into the tv. Have to have the Geek squad come and install these items and hopefully improve my picture.

    We only purchase appliances and TV's and speakers from BestBuy. The reason we shop with Best Buy is because we know we can go there to get a fair price, great selection and advice from a knowledgeable sales person. My husband nor I like to set up technology so we always purchase the services of Geek Squad and have never been disappointed until now. It was not Geek Squad, it was a contracted 3rd party who should never be working with the public. Showed up 3 hours late, disrespectful on the phone (this was the installers Mgr), wanting to charge more, did not read the directions supplied to him by Best Buy on what they were to do - - - I could go on. My advice, always make sure that it is the Geek Squad coming to you and not a 3rd party.
