Cancelled Set Up Date

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Original Tv install date was messed up and they never came out as wasn't scheduled even tho i had numerous emails stating for time and date. Had a terrible time getting thru to anyone on a phone to talk about my issue, of why I'm sitting at home and no one showed up. I had to drive 20 miles to talk to someone to resolve issue. After waiting almost 2 weeks for a $6400 TV to be delivered. I was put on schedule a week from Friday to Friday to get them out. I since cancelled and did it myself. As was HAPPY having a TV sitting in a box in middle of my living room for a full week. Understandable that things happen but not being able to get anyone on a phone was ridiculous!!! Will never use you again or recommend to anyone!!! More than likely paying off credit card we got thru Best Buy and closing it out....

BB used 3rd party. late to arrive. incomplete

This was a 3rd party. Really deeply disappointed in Best Buy. Personnel at store not that helpful, until realized we were not going away....3rd trip there. And, still, no resolution. BB was to show up today between noon and 8pm as follow-up to incomplete job ... a No Show; plus, would have been 3rd party again. Our next correspondence will be with a full documentation letter to BB's CEO with a copy to the COO.

Geek squad was very Rude and Dismissive

I had to inform him that several applications on the Smart TV was not working (As they packed up to leave). Even though I informed them that all applications were not working ... they were bothered to fix the issues. VERY STRESSFUL EXPERIENCE.

Geek Squad left a mess, screws on the floor.....

I asked him to make the "cloudy picture" more clear and he argued that I asked for a "sharp" picture so he set it that way. He made no sense. It took him over 20 minutes to get my sound bar to work when all along the other Geek squad guy knew it was an incorrectly set setting, but Leon never asked him for help. They left all the screws from the stand all over my carpet. They packed up the old TV that I was returning in my living room instead of outside and took up my time as well as left a mess all over. They left the TV stand out rather than sliding it back into it's nook. They left the sound bar behind the TV way off to the left. There was no personal concern for what we wanted or how to use the TV or the remote.

Geek Squad was unable to finish my job.

The way I understand it he was not able to complete the job because Best Buy corporate would not allow him to have access to old Harmony files. It seems to me that my options are as follows: 1) Find someone with a laptop to reprogram my remote for me because I only have an iPad. 2) Buy a Harmony remote off of Amazon and have one of your technicians come back and program it with my iPad. 3) Buy URC remote and and base and have you program it for a total of about $700. This type of service is unacceptable. I will be looking forward to hearing from you about recognition issue.

Bad Choice

I purchased from Best Buy so I could get a seamless experience but was far from what I expected. From the minute they pulled up my driveway they acted like they wanted to leave asap. I had to constantly ask questions as they didn't even hand me the user guide or paperwork. It was a super simple install but their explanations were as though I was an IT expert. They didn't pick up the boxing trash and didn't even bring it to garbage can. Will never use Geek Squad again and Definitely will never recommend them to anyone. This soured the whole buying experience to say the least

Two appointments for install not kept
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I will never purchase electronics with install at Best Buy - Two confirmed installment appointments were not kept - no communication from Best Buy - after two hours of being passed on and put on hold I went down to store to learn that there was nothing they could do and had no resolution - purchase was made and paid for over a month ago - still do not have delivery and installation date - not that a confirmed date means anything - as they simply do not show up - or have any coomuncation as to next steps - I will be shopping else where and cancelling my order

Not so well

There are signs in front that say all delivery in the rear of the building. My agent came in the front door carrying my 65 inch tv in his hands. Are you kidding me !!! Not good.

REPRESENTIVE DID NOT SET UP THE RIGHT SERVICE

Very disinterested

Didn’t even attempt HBO max! My daughter came and had no trouble!!! All he wanted to talk about was his own home computer. Very disappointed for 149.00 dollars
