    The two service people who set up my television were terrible. They unpacked the television and placed it on my fireplace mantle. They put the batteries in the remote. They did not get my television connected to the remote and the cable. The television was not working when they left. They did not demonstrate how the remote worked and how to use the remote with the apps. I was expecting my television to be workable when they left my home. We still do not know how to correctly use the remote between the cable box and the apps-we are learning through trial and error. Also, the trash was not removed and left in my garage. This was a waste of money for the Geek Squad to set up my television. Never again!

    Not a geek squad worker. 3rd party worker. He was on time. Went quickly down hill from there. Set up was quick. Worker was not friendly. Unprofessional. Did very little programming . I did have problems with my u verse equipment. Not worth 99$. He did very little for 99 $ .worth 50$.

    Worst service ever

    My service request was cancelled due to an employee calling in sick. Rescheduled for filling day. Next day staffer called with wrong time, I stated the correct time, he said would return call, never did and nobody ever showed up. I checked the website and saw that someone had attempted to cover up the mistake by adding the incorrect time making it seem as though I had no window at all. Years as Best buy customer, never subjected to such unprofessional behavior. Called to cancel and requested refund. Never heard from them, waiting to double check with credit card.

    Money stolen from us

    One of the installers stole $300 from my dad’s bedroom. I reported the issue weeks ago. No one has gotten back to me. Very disappointing. I told all my friends and family. We are taking out business elsewhere!

    I paid $200 for a yearly subscription to TotalTech, which includes free delivery/installation/haul away. Of the three, I only got two of them - delivery and haul away. And the haul away took 2 extra days. For some reason, they did not show up when they said they would, which was a 12 hour window. I called several times the next day to find out when they would show up. I couldn't get a straight answer. I ended up installing and setting up the TV myself, which took 2.5 hours of my time. Eventually, someone did show up to haul away my old TV.

    Delivery service and call center is terrible sat on hold several hours, had my appointment rescheduled 3 times due to their lack of communication. Supposed to arrive and be set up day before thanksgiving but didn’t happen until after new years. They went to the wrong apartment complex, once finally delivered, they brought the box in and looked at me like they didn’t understand what the problem was and went to leave. I asked them if they knew I paid for the installation they checked their forms and said oh yeah you did.

    Sadly, Geek Squad is still waiting to take delivery of our TV so they might actually come set it up. I am stunned to get a survey when it’s been a month since we purchased and the item still hasn’t arrived at the warehouse. We have rescheduled delivery twice and hold out little hope that the next delivery date will actually produce the product. It’s not Geek Squad’s fault, it is Best Buy’s fault for overpromising and grossly under delivering!

    The technician that Bestbuy sent out was just fine. The problem was with the agent taking the order for the setup. She added a television setup to the cost: even after I told her twice: that I didn’t need any assistance setting up my tv: because the tv has been here 2-years: and didn’t need setting up. I get the bill: and she had clearly added the setup to the bill. I thought I could get it cleared up later: but BestBuy’s customer service really sucks: and that’s putting it mildly. Great technician: poor agents for customer service: and no follow up from BestBuy’s field representatives.

    I would give them a minus if I could. 2 guys came to set up my TV. When I told them about my previous Geek guy who told me to get Cox TV even though I had service, the two with straight faces told me to exchange my internet box for a newer one. Huh??? They didn't want to admit even they couldn't figure out what was wrong. Turns out it needed a splitter. Went to BB to get it straight. Everything works fine now.

    Best Buy sent a third party out to deliver my new TV. Unfortunately, that information was not communicated to me, and the information given to the third party was inadequate. If you schedule the Geek Squad for in home service, be sure you are getting the Geed Squad.

    The Tech who came out and installed Antonio, was great but the next day we had problems with the settings etc on the Sound Bar. We already spent $199.00 for Pro Tech Elite and $149.00 for delivery and install. We have not been able to enjoy our surround sound since purchasing and is gonna be a month before they can send someone out and charge us another $49.00, The Pro Tech Elite with Tech support did us no good since the Tech told me he could not help me over the phone. He had no idea how the Tech set it up and was not familiar with that product. So now we are still awaiting a Tech to come out On Aug 12 .. One month after spending 4,000.00

    This was a waste of time and money. Could have taken the TV home with me and installed same day. Pick-up, delivery and installation too over a week, delivery time was past promised time. Called, they said it would be the next day... called geek squad, guess they called the contractor and he had it out within two hours. TV connect and setup is sort of a misnomer. More like just installation. The guy that "setup" the TV didn't connect components (sound bar, two disk players) via remote, he said it couldn't be done. I did it myself after he left. The service I expected was for geek squad to connect and setup to maximize my viewing pleasure!

    Geek Squad came to set up my $2500 Bose 700 Sound bar subwoofer, and rear speakers. The next day I could not get the sound bar to work. Was on the phone with the Best Buy tech support from 2:50pm to 4:45pm mostly on hold and never got through to the person they were trying to transfer me to. I went in to the Yorba Linda Best Buy to talk to them in person and they can't come by until August 12th. This is not the 1st time the Geek Squad does a terrible job setting up a sound bar at my house. After this is fixed I will never purchase anything at Best Buy again.

    The agents set everything up with our harmony remotes and things still don't work right. There has to be a better solution for multiple equipment. I did say yes to recommend Geek Squad, but they missed to boat on this set-up. Past experiences have been solid

    Made appointment for 12/27/24. It was confirmed. Received text with day of appointment timeframe window 2p-6p. Geek Squad didn't show. When I called support, they said oh something had happened so I needed to reschedule. No communication. Just didn't show.

    This was a gift for my sister-in-law who is in her 70s. We bought the Smart TV and paid to have it installed. We received a call from her this evening that she didn't know how to use the remote - turning on the tv, adjusting the volume, navigating the remote. Evidently they did not take the time to explain how to use the remote or if they did it was too fast. We had to do that from another state over the phone. It was extremely frustrating that she did not understand it. I tried to call the store and was not able to get through to a person. We were finally able to find an online manual to help her.

    They were incorrect on one instance. Said there was nothing available to extend my indoor antenna cable. WRONG. I got a pair of coaxil adaptors and a length of cable. I extended my antenna cable by 25 feet WITHOUT degradation of the antenna signal
