NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE

They delivered the tv fine - BUT - they mistakenly told me i didnt have wi-fi (which i did with Alexa) - so the Geek squad guy handed me the remote - turned it on - and left. I DID GET A REFUND -

Paid for advance install and didn’t get it

With advanced install I was promised it will be two technicians and only one tech came to my house and I was in my home office working and I ended up had to help mount my own TV because there was only one person. I called and they only reimburse me $75 after I paid over $300. I will not recommend anyone use geek squad or their contracting company they use because you may end up doing the work yourself. Very disappointed..

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Geek Squad never showed up in fact two men who could not speak English delivered and were on their way....no set up as was required or haul away old tv. It has been a nightmare. A date was set then moved for another week, All together it was 3 weeks without a tv and the communication with people was horrible. The right hand didnt know what the left hand was doing. I finally had to hire some besides the geek squad to help me. It cost me $150 . I need to be reimbursed for this service.

Not a happy day
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well at the end of the day at least they did deliver it but had to go back and redo the setup which they did and two hours early with no phone call to warn me prior to the appointment and too much time on their phone with personal conversations rather than being professional and setting it up and educating me on how everything works

Hooked to WiFi, when direct connect was available. I was hesitant to ask questions because questions seemed to irritate him.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sure, I got talked into buying the Tech Support, which supposedly saved me about $319, and when I wanted to get rid of the support, I was told I would have to pay back all of those "discounts." It is a shame that you have the nerve to charge $150 or $50 to just insert 1 power plug and 2 HDMI cables. It all was a tough pill to swallow, but I finally gave in, paid off the TV balance, and used my (ahem) 10% discount to purchase something else. I AM NOT AT ALL PLEASED WITH BEST BUY. I even returned to your store 2 Fridays ago, and asked about the price of a printer, and when I returned on Monday, it was raised $30. The story is much longer than this, but I do not want to bore you with it.

Service work

But, the Geek squad was very friendly and professional, they did and excellent job on how to use the remote. Job Well Done !!!!

Bad experience

Needless to say, this was a poor experience. I had to wait around for another few hours until the correct television arrived. Spoke to manager at store re: refund for delivery service - he was rude and offered no compensation for my time and infinite patience as a loyal customer. I suppose as a customer you shouldn’t expect to receive the service you paid for in the window promised. I’m sure everyone has time to sit around all day and wait for Best Buy to do the job you purchased on their schedule.

Frustrating service

Three attempts, each requiring us to drive 3 hours each way to let the agent into our place. (Location is at a vacation property.) The remote is still not working consistently. At first, when we accessed Apple TV, the remote would turn off the receiver. That was fixed on the third visit, but now the remote turns off the Apple TV box instead. The universal remote is useless if I have to do some of the steps manually. We would have done better to have a friend install the thing. Agent was very amiable, but we paid a lot of money for a poor installation.

Overpriced/incomplete

I had to set up the WiFi connection myself (they told me it wasn’t needed). They were replacing an existing TV that had been a professional custom install, and did not understand what had been done.

Poor Setup service

My other TV was not a smart tv and had a Fire tv box. The tech installed the old Fire tv box onto the new tv. My son removed it. Not only does the tv work faster and better, my son was able to get my old vcr to work. I spend 200 dollars on setup service that was very shabby. I am fortunate to have a son with a work ethic. .

Vizio tv
