    Setup was not complete, some accessories were placed in a pile instead of installed. Rear speakers inoperable, wrong side. Tv not able to operate cable box. In short, all I got was unboxing. I really need to reset my TV and do it myself.

    The initial setup would not work properly with the added equipment (Soundbar and Comcast Exfinity). This was not discovered until the next day, when the TV had been turned off, and then turned on after a Comcast nightly update.

    Totally worthless. A sub-contractor arrived and asked where my cable box was. I turned it back to Spectrum a week ago. I was under the impression that this new 4K TV would be able to pick up local broadcast TV. He was here 5 minutes and said there was nothing he could do. I went back to Best Buy and after 45 minutes of waiting I did get a full refund.

    I bought 2 TVs with accessories for close to 5k and spent another $500 on Geek Squad to set up and install.. The TVs are having problems staying on (the 75 keeps turning off each time a change channels) and the 65 won't and never finished the initial channel loading I call Besy Buys 6 times and spoke with a Mgr who assured me we would have Gerk Squad come out and never heard back I called the Gerk Squad Tech who left me his contact info 8 times and emailed him 4 times and he never responded to me I had Visa dispute the purchase and install Worst experience I have ever experienced FYI I just bought 2 days ago another 65inch from Costco I will never give Best Buy my business again

    Unsupervised and poorly trained installation team

    The men that set up the TV were not able to reach their supervisor and couldn't give me a name and couldn't give me a number. I called the main Best buy number no supervisor available. This was a very horrible experience and not sure if I'll ever use you Best buy again.

    Neither person could speak or understand much english. They never told us they were leaving. I finished setting it up myself.

    I was very happy with the service I got today. The two gentlemen were polite and explain everything to me in easy way that I understood everything.

    lousy service and an incomplete set up

    The technician arrived expecting to do work that wasn't required but not prepared to hook the set up to my home theatre system. After I complained he did connect the system but only partially completed the installation and some of what he did was wrong. The TV sound will not play through the theatre amp. I have to use three different remotes to turn the system on and off - he partially programmed the main remote but didn't get all the functions programmed and he only tested to see if it would raise and lower the volume on the home theatre amp but nothing else. I would never purchase this service from Best Buy again.

    Two guys arrived to install and connect set, One made an error and the other guy corrected it, or so we thought. After they left I experienced a WIFI error - couldn't connect my laptop because "another device was using its IP address". I called Geek Squad customer service and someone who was a bit slow and difficult to communicate with - told me I'd have to pay to get the problem fixed even though Geek squad. I sent a message to Geek Squad / Best Buy and got no response …. I paid $100 for the Geeks to create a problem that still isn't resolved. Lets see if I get a response now.

    All the Geek Squad guys did was talk. No apps were installed, no detailed instructions were given. And they were eager to exit after 40 minutes, saying they’d spent enough time with me. I’ve been ripped off for $199.

    Somewhat helpful. Did not fix one issue. Still hear a popping sound from time to time when I change channels. Something wrong. Tech persons down played it.

    They didn’t set this up. I picked it up, carried it into the house, and set it up myself. It didn’t take that long. I saved a lot of money.

    the tecn never narrowed the deliver window...7 to 7. he texted three times at 9 am, and at 7 pm he never replied or showed up. i am still on their books, for 9 am TODAY, 10 hours later. Awful! the next guy better be a Geek squad person, not an outside contractor....

    Subcontractor sent and was several hours late. He was so anxious to leave, he tried to rush through smart TV set up. It led to problems with loading the apps and he repetitively shared his frustration with the length of time it was taking. Called Best Buy to complain and they stated they would reimburse me for this poor service. I have yet to receive this stated compensation.

    I bought a TV July 6 from your store and you had my money...I had three dates to deliver and no response from you..i.e. I am not coming today...or It is out of stock so I can't deliver..etc...in August, I visited your store and got my money back...One week ago, I order a different TV on line from your store and Aug 25th I was waiting for the delivery and there was no phone call, email or TV to show up at my home..NOW I have a new delivery date on Aug 31...and I noticed you already have my money again and I DO NOT HAVE A TV ..seems unfair...

    Set up TV fine but I had to hook up everything even though I was told they would do it. Language barrier was a problem.

    Main reason paid for installation was for guidance on setting up the ROKU system, etc. since I'm a little challenged technically. When the technician couldn't get it to activate, the screen text indicated to shut the TV off, unplug, then replug and restart. Tech only logged off, said it was the same thing, and that it was a issue with our internet provider and I would have to contact them. After he left, I followed the directions on the screen and it solved the problem. The money I spent on technical portion of setup was a complete waste.

    Geek Squad Left Without Finishing the Job

    One Star is actually an incomplete. He left leaving components scattered around the room and although he managed to accomplish what we asked, we have not since been able to replicate the procedure. We have tried to contact him for a week with no response to email or phone calls. Hope he is not injured or sick, but we wasted $200.
