Great stand minus huge sticker on top glass!!!!!!!

bought for a baby room....works perfectly.........

This is a review of the Insignia 302 TV stand. This item is poorly manufactured. When assembled according to the instructions the unit is out of square to the point the pieces don't fit. I was able to square it up somewhat, to a 1/2" out of square from 1 1/8" out of square but that did not get it to the point that it will assemble correctly.

I would recommend to purchase, but make sure you have two people carefully move it to anywhere.

This unit has parts that unfold... That's great in terms of quick set up but some of the parts do not line up properly so it's off a bit when you go to slide theglass in or screw in other parts of the supporting bracket. It's not off so much that you can't make it work, but it's off enough to annoy you. I'd still likely buy another one.

I looked at reviews of TV Stands on Bestbuy.com before going into the store. Several of the Init stands had reviews saying that there was a manufacturing mistake that got in the way of installation. I realize it was just a tiny percentage of the reviews but I wrote myself a note not to buy anything made by Init. Unfortunately the vast majority of what suited my needs was made by Init, and I was determined to buy something and I let my guard down. Sure enough, I got home and when I tried to assemble it it was defective. It was possible to assemble it, but it was impossible to make the front part of the frame parallel to the back part of the frame. The glass top is anchored to the back frame, which means it wasn't parallel to the front of the frame including the two table legs. It looked ridiculous and I don't know if it would have affected the weight-bearing capacity. Probably not. I took it back and the customer service people were extremely helpful, no questions asked. They asked if I wanted to replace it with another one but I didn't want to take my chances and ended up buying something else - it was really a lot of trouble to buy the stand, lug it home, and lug it back. I think Best Buy should think twice about selling Init TV stands..

I purchase this TV stand because it was on sale. It is not made very well at all. My main complaint is that two parts were missing and after calling Insignia I was informed that they do not have any spare parts for this product, something I find very unusual. I called Best Buy and they were very helpful and stated that I could exchange the unit for one with all the parts but the unit is very heavy and I do not want to go through the hassle and having to bring it back to the store. My advise is to spend a little more and purchase a quality product and one that you can get spare parts for.

Was looking at tv stands for my new tv because I needed a bigger one. Decided to go with this one because I figured that if I spent a little more money for a nice one it would be better. Couldn't have been more wrong. When trying to assemble it the bars didn't even line up making it impossible to put together. Couldn't figure out what was wrong with until I used a level on the wood, only to find out the wood was warped. Wouldn't recommend to anyone, spend your money on a stand of higher quality. This things a piece of junk.

Loved the appearance of this!! But then the top glass on this shattered! Only have 50" flat screen. And the customer service I've gotten with trying to get 1 new top piece of glass is rediculous!! The last 4 weeks I've been trying to get this figured out and I get pushed from one person to the next. Not impressed and will not do business here.
