    got this with my tv since i can not wall mount my tv. set up was not too bad but took about and hour and a half from start to finish. Looks good and holds 49inch tv well. Seems sturdy.

    I bought this stand and a 55" TV for my parents and while putting the stand together went well there was no way that we could mount the TV ourselves so in the end we gave up and had to have someone from Best Buy come out and install it. I'm 55 and my dad's 80 so we aren't as young as we used to be. Once it was set up it's very nice and sturdy. It has no problem supporting a 55" TV and there is room for a VCR and DVD player on the shelves.

    WOW, when I purchased a new TV, I knew I needed a new TV stand. However, I did not expect this stand to be so useful. It is perfect for when you want to wall mount a TV, but do not want to actually mount the TV to your wall for any reason. The TV stand is tall and sturdy and enables you to mount your TV and offers plenty of shelving space for storage. We use this in our bedroom and love that the mount has a flexible viewing range.
