Ok, I am a 30 something year old mom who LOVES the Twilight Saga-I'm re-reading them now. They are my favorites! The movie is basically an outline of the book. It is definetly not as good as the books-but what movie based on a book ever is? I enjoyed the movie, and pre-ordered it and can't wait to rewatch it, but still the movie is not substitute for the book-Read it! I'm hoping the second movie will be better as they will have a much bigger budget and a new director.

I had to write this after reading the ridiculous bad reviews that this movie received. I am a 46 year old working mother who should have better things to do, but when my ten year old started reading the books I felt a need to follow suit. I thoroughly enjoyed both the books and the movie. I just can't understand why people need to act so pompous and arrogant when they write a bad review for a movie that was never meant to be an Academy Award winner. These intellectuals show both their bias and their ignorance. This movie was meant for the millions of people out there who enjoyed the books and except for a view variations it succeeded more than admirably.

Twilight is a truely romantic movie. For any romantic. It also has Vampires so you can't get better than that. The cast was perfect. Great soundtrack and score. It did a amazing job staying true to the book but creating the world from the book onto film. Robert and Kristen have great chemistry. it's the only movie i had to keep going back to see. I saw it 10x. If i listen to the soundtrack i can picture actors in the movie.. oh and if you haven't read the books check them out to.

It's as if the author met these actors first, they so perfectly mirror her characters! The movie was a great first try, Edward and Bella personified! Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are on fire! Some of the scenes were hurried, and a few seemed unncessary - and some crucial scenes were missing. Overall a funny and endearing movie that was better every time I saw it. I know each Harry Potter movie was good - and yet each movie is better and better. I am sure that Twilight will follow the same path and bring us all the twists and turns the books have - I absolutely recommend it to everyone!

I bought this movie, along with a uniden phone and browsed several laptops that day. The customer service was OUTSTANDING and all the staff was knowledgeable when I had questions. As far as rating the movie, it was a good beginning to the Twilight Saga, but the latter movies had MUCH better quality. I felt the 1st in the saga had the characteristics of a "B" rated film, low budget. This was purchased for my 13 year old and he enjoyed the story, so all in all a good investment. The uniden corded phone with cordless expansion set is a great product and well worth the money!

I found this a very beautiful, exciting vampire romance. Yes, some may find it more geared towards young adults, but I found it to be a great story and I am 36. I am a big fan of Vampire movies and liked the change of the no fangs, tons of blood letting scene of the typical Vampire flick. Seeing this movie and hearing the reviews from a few friends who have seen the movie and read the books, say although the book has more detail, the movie was pretty close to the book. And then of course, I had to order the audiobooks and now cannot wait for them all to be on film.

This movie is well directed, scored, and edited. The cinematography is sweeping for a movie that is supposed to be more about the story line. The director sets the mood with the overall color, music, and editing. There are nuances in it that are subtle, and it takes seeing it a number of times to discover what the director was trying to show us. I especially love the way the actor who plays Bella's father, Charlie, (Billie Burke) portrays him so naturally in each scene. I did not read the book or books, but love seeing this one over and over.

I love the books. The movie is OK. I believe that this is how book to movies usually are. Here are the things that are usually true with books made into movies: stuff is left out (check), action/romance is bumped up a few notches (check), you will be disappointed (check) I was quite disappointed with kristen stewarts acting she has some sort of distracting twitch throughout the movie, in addition to her inability to show emotions. All other actors were better. I have seen this movie MANY times and will still continue to watch it. It is a must watch.

If you're interested to look for a good movie then this is for sure it. It has some decent action in it and about the struggles of a vampire falling in love with a human, which makes romantic i suppose. It keeps you very interested throughout the whole movie. So if you're looking for something good to watch then why not pick this up. I'll be waitin for New Moon.

its my new Fav movie of all time!!! Love it. The story is amazing. i have read the books and i found that they did an amazing job bringing it to life. not sure if you've read a book and then watched the movie. what i've found is they cut out a lot of good points in the book. with this movie, its all in there, its just re-arranged a bit. so if you read the book then watch the movie, the story is the same but different. if you watch the movie then read the book, its still a page turner. buy this movie!! you'll love it

This movie was absolutlely the best movie of the year and maybe the decade. I love the cast and especially Kristen/Bella, they really did a good job casting her for Bella. I am so excited for this DVD to come out because once I saw the commercial for the DVD I literally jumped out of my seat and screamed. I am super excited for the all special features and the especially the deleted and extended scenes. This movie is the best and I've already seen it 3 times and I can't wait for the 21st!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Honestly, the first book I read was actually one of the first books I have ever read completely in my life. I got hooked off the first book and read the rest and now I'm into reading. But, the movie Twilight was adapted very well from the book. Kristen Stewart and Rob Pattinson have one of the best on-screen chemistry I have ever seen in a long time. This film is very enjoyable for anyone and it's done fantastically. I recommend anyone to consider watching this movie if you haven't already.

I read all the books 1st but I never went to see the movie when it 1st came out so yesterday I picked up the movie and I love it but I wish it had the part where Edward explains how everyone came to be and also about who the one was that turned Alice during the part with Bella and James. I had to clue my husband into how that happened. I didn't think my husband would like the movie but at the end he said he can't wait for the next one. We are in our 20's and the movie isn't just for teens.

I generally don't care for movies that have things like werewolves or vampires but when I watched this movie I didn't want to blink. Some movies start off with something extremely boring and progress throughout the film. This movie starts out with something extremely entertaining and continues until the credits at the end of the film. You may think that you won't like it because of the age or gender you are, but I liked it and I am a 17 year old male. I can't wait for the next one.

I love this movie it stayed pretty true to the book. As for everyone saying how the special effects are bad and the quality isn't good either. Keep in mind that this movie was made old school, by good old film and not all digital like most of the movies these days. I will continue to watch all the movies as they come out.

I made a gave error about this Film. I just watched the fULL sCREEN vERSION. tHAT'S RIGHT! Full Screen. It had class and the Acting alothough Amature night it was good i am not expert but this film has potential and I hope the next one is as good as this one. I will never read the Books, but i am sure the Author is a very good Writer and has taste like my Books but not as good as I am My Books have potential more than twilight did it had a lot of thigs this was out of.

This movie is awsome, its a great love story the charicters choosen are all perfect. ive watched it like 5 times already. i cant wait to get the dvd for all the extras. they should have touched up more on the love between edward and bella as they do in the book because in the book it shows more in depth how in love they actully are they cut a little to much out of the movie. but i still loved it. i would recommend this movie to anyone you will love it trust me.

I truly enjoyed the movie, it's exactly what it should be a teenage movie with all of the heartfelt emotions teenagers feel when in LOVE...which especially transpired on to my emotions bringing back that child like love I felt when I was 17...I can watch it over and over again. I think that what appears to some as poor acting is more like the actions of teenagers when fixated on any other individual...I thought their acting was perfect for their parts.

No its not a lot like the book but if you are one true Twilight fan you will LOVE it anyways! This is one of the greatest movies I have seen in a while. I could watch it over and over again. I only saw it twice in theaters... :( But just a few more days I will own it. If you like action and romance and HOTT vampires.. This movie Is definitely for you, If you are a fan of Jackson Rathbone :D or Robert Pattinson this movie is also for you.

Twilight was wonderfully directed and kept me intensly watching and always wanting more. I saw the movie in theaters 4-5 times. I've seen a lot of movies that are based around books, but I have to say this one probably followed the book better than any movie I've seen. It wasn't quite as in depth or showed every detail as much as the book did, but it was fabulous. I can't wait for New Moon to be released!
