oh my god. twilight was the best movie ever but of course it could never be better than the books!!!! i remember when the movie first came out and i thought it was soo stupid and i would make fun of all my friends who were literally obsessed.....but then for christmas i read the first book and that is when i became obsessed...lol. THIS MOVIE WAS SOOO GOOD AND I AM SOO EXCITED TO OWN IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am absolutely obssesed with this movie. I watch to over and over again. I love it. I do wish they would stay in line with the book but it is still great. I even love the music choosen for the movie. I also bought the soundtracks, they are great too. I would advise every one to read the saga because it is beautiful complelling, and jaw dropping. You will be captured, unable to to put the book down.

What i liked about this movie,was it didn't dissapoint,i actuall y thought it was preety goodcause i've read the books but they didn't keep to the good parts only the ok parts,But it was worth it!Though in the book Bella is supposed to have personality and spunk but in the movie she had no sense of anything she was just blah,the rest were all great this movie is worth watching over and over.

I love the book, i love the movie, but it was like 2 totally different things. I mean EVERY scene in the book was changed. They should have stuck more to the book like harry potter and lord of the rings makers do. i mean at least they resemble the books lol

if you read the book then you know that edward and bella spent a lot of time together talking and getting close. in the movie it seems kind of rushed and all of a sudden they are in love. BUT it was still a great movie. they main cast had great chemistry. edward is HOTT! and the movie is all genres: LOVE, COMEDY, ACTION, HORROR (for the vampire part) and i reccommend it to EVERYONE!!

Everything in the book and movie is so great im so happy Stephanie Meyer made this book its great its the best book in the world I am reading the book like 5 times a day!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love it so much!!!! The book is the best book ever made they made twilight awesome not as good as the book but........veryy kind of close I guess Stephenie Meyer is the best I love her writting!!!!

Overall it was a good movie. I Honestly bought it for my wife, Her type of film. Although her type I SAT THROUGH IT.... and LIKED IT. It probably was better than good but I gave it my views maybe a bit biased. So if this is your type of movie, check it out. One last thing... I got the first two movies of the series plus the documentary one. Good Luck Chris

I saw this movie and loved it!!! It inspired me to buy the books. There are some things the movie should have included from the book. But I still loved it, anyways. I can AND have watched this movie over & over & over & over - you get the idea! This is the best movie from the series. But all are worth watching.

Lets start with the fact that I enjoyed the movie and I have also read the books. Now anyone who says the acting in this movie is good needs to get out and see more movies. I say this because this had some of the worst acting I have ever seen. There were lots of awkward pauses that did not need to be there. The special effects were downright abysmal. All I can say is they are definitely going to need a better budget for special effects for New Moon because certain aspects of that book will need it. I will definitely give this movie series another chance with new moon but if its as bad as this one then i will give up on it.

Twilight was awesome i liked both the boook and movie it was worth watching this movie...in the beggining i thought twilight was stupid but after i read the twilight series and saw the movie i fell in love with it.....even though the book and movie is different from the book i still think it was good....read twilight lol...!!!!!!!!!!!

I read the book and saw the movie 4 times in the theater and I was also able to purchas the DVD already !! This movie is so exciting! It draws you in.. .. Especially if you're a hopeless romantic. ..For all those BOOK WORMS giving bad reviews.. Movies are NEVER the same as the books.... The heat between Bella and Edward is phenomonal!

It was the best movie I've EVER SEEN. I cried four times. Saw the movie four time in theaters. Kristen and Robert did an AWESOME job. This movie is for adults and children. The books aree better but if you forget you read the books, then its still really good. I can't wait for March 21st. Its my moms birthday, shes getting me it (:

It's a amazing love story with vampires in it. I don't watch many movies more than one at the theater no matter how good. Twilight I kept going back. I just saw it for the 10th time. A must get movie. Sit down, open your hearts and imaginations and enjoy.

The books are good for their genre. The movie is not. This movie doesn't even fit into a genre, certainly not a vampire movie. I know so many girls including my own girlfriend who are obsessed with this movie and the books. It boils down to the fact that this is an over-the-top love fantasy that has struck the emotional core of women nationwide. Its kind of like a boyband, preying upon the hordes of immature personalities seeking a quick, unrealistic, and absolutely unoriginal grip on a specified audience and my my how it has succeeded. The acting is sub-par, story-line as stated before is stale and targeted at [young] women, and when grading this film as a vampire genre it falls short in every way. I do not mean to be so harsh on this movie as it isn't the worst thing I've ever seen, but unless you are the personality type that falls under the previous description I DO NOT suggest anyone see this, it definitely has a SPECIFIC audience that will enjoy it. It sad to think this movie won awards over other much better selections, guess we know who the voters are (it is MTV afterall). One can only hope this Twilight "wave" will end abruptly, but with New Moon approaching it seems unlikely (The story does get better at least). Looks like we will be hearing about Edward for some time to come... sorry fellas :P

I saw the movie first and then read all the books. I couldn't take my eyes of the screen or books. Definately funny, and I loved the fact that it was different then most vampire movies. I am an avid movie buff and love vampire movies, but this one tops them all for me!!! Can't wait to see the next one.

I recommend this movie to both the book readers and the non readers. Unfortuantely the non readers may enjoy it more than those who expect something from the movie. Overall the movie is worth it!

I recently started reading Stephanie Meyer's series and loved the books. I couldn't put them down. I was so excited to finally get to see the movie and see what all the hype was about. I was expecting the books to be translated on the big screen as Harry Potter was, but I was very disappointed. The acting was just terrible and the movie was very low budgeted. It wasn't too terrible....but no where near the excitement and romance in the novels.

I saw this movie several times in the theater and absolutely loved it. After seeing the movie I read all 4 books and enjoyed the whole storyline. I can not wait to own this DVD. If you did not see this movie when it was released be sure to rent it and I am sure like me you will want to own it.

I did it backwards and saw the movie first before I touched any of the books. I didn't like the movie at all when I saw it, it had it 's good parts but nothing overwhelming to me. When I read the book, I was even more dissappointed in the movie. The only thing I really like from the movie is the baseball scence. As a person who has read all the Harry Potter books and saw all the movies Twlilight could have been much better than it was. As we know Harry Potter books contain a lot of info, but I've never been as dissappointed as I am in Twilight.

I have read all four books quite a few times and seen the movie even more. The movie wasn't exactly like the book but neither were the harry potter movies. I can't wait for New Moon to come out and I am hoping that they make the last 2 books into movies also. I want to see Bella as a vampire.
