These are great! Easy and fun to control. You can use them year round as well.

Easy to setup and work. 3D mapping was a mystery but the lights still seem to know where they are. Placed 1200 on a 7.5 ft tree and it looks nice. Not as good as I see on the website but still better than the other lights I’ve had.

Really vibrant lights compared to non WiFi version

I bought this set since I wanted to do a high tech tree this year and this set really was pretty cool. Over all I am pleased with the set even though its WiFi connected to your personally home does not work at all. The twinkly WiFi built into the unit does work but you have to have your phone on at all times or it defaults back to the last one saved...or you have to reconnect to that phone over an over...This means that the lights will not work unless the phone is WiFi connected...It also does not work very well with Non apple phones....I had an old apple I used to keep the lights working. I am sure many people do not have an extra phone to use so this a big negative to this device but overall once it works the light show is amazing and you can change it when working to all kinds of options offered and can make adjustments to most options as well. The 3D effects do not work at all even after multiple re-mapping the tree...hope they fix this on the 3rd generation. I will recommend these amazing lights even with the flaws.

its really nice to hace control of the tree lights not just the regular colors that i was used to. next year im adding another set to the tree for sure

I can’t wait to buy more strands. We have three sets. I was having trouble at first but a review I read that you need to use an Apple product and not an android. That resolved the connection issues. I love the Twinkly products.

These lights have a an amazing vibe and they work well. They do seem like they would be hard to fix but otherwise very good.

Great for our tree. Used to two sets for a 6 foot tree and we could have used a 3rd set. But it was not too bad. Took a few extra minutes to figure out how to get them setup and working together, just make sure you read the instructions and you will get by okay.

I’ve had these lights for about 4 months and they have stopped working. I only have turned them on about 5 times indoors since i got them and the app to turn the lights on doesn't let me turn them on at all. Ive tried plugging them into different outlets and following the instructions several times and they wont turn on whats so ever.

Love all twinkle products! Not only can you control all colors and patterns you can also dim lights so you can enjoy a movie with no distraction from your lights.

I thought that these would be very cheesy. They turned out to be amazing! The patterns are absolutely beautiful and the set up was a breeze. They are very pricey but well worth the price.

These lights are fantastic. The app is easy to use and the show the lights gives is breathtaking. Highly recommend these for the tree or other decorating needs good all year round for events.

We got things lit up with these lights. It is nice to be able to change the light settings through wifi. We were planning to use it for Christmas but due to different themes, we kept it up so we can use it for New Year theme, July 4 theme, fall theme, etc.

I love the way the lights, transform with the different patterns.

My neighbors love these. Decided to spend a little extra this year and picked these up on Black Friday. Definitely worth the investment in you decorate every year. Added more when they went on sale after Christmas.

The lights are easy to setup and the 250 LED's were enough to cover a 6 foot tree. I may add more lights to get better resolution for some of the patterns. Very cool how it can scan the tree to know where all the LED's are to create the moving patterns (e.g. fireworks, rotating rainbow). The playlist is a cool feature so that the patterns keep changing. I did have an issue where the tree would disconnect from the app and so, I could not control the lights from the app and the timer did not work properly. I had to re-add the lights to the app (which did not work) but somehow, it was able to recognize the lights again. This happened multiple times which was inconvenient. Otherwise, it worked great!

I love these lights. They are beautiful and having the app controls is a really great addition. One issue though. If you have an older generation strand of Twinkly, they won't be able to connect or be in sync. That's a bit of a problem, but I was still able to make due with both strands.
