Great lights. A little hard to create your own pattern because mapping the lights causes multiple lights to stack on top of each other in the "map". But there are a lot of good designs that come with the lights

This is my third set of twinkly lights and I continue to be impressed with the brightness of the LEDs and customizability of colors/patterns through the iOS app. It all has worked really well for me without any hiccups, so I'm happy. I am mainly leaving this review to inform of one consideration about this set of 400, which I think has been mentioned elsewhere as well. Just in case it matters with how you're using these, be warned that it isn't just a plug on one end with a string of 400 lights. This is essentially two sets of 200 lights that meet in the middle to plug in. If you're hanging these outside on gutters/shingles or even on a tree, they aren't a single continuous string of lights. You have to consider that the plug-in is located in the middle of the line, with 200 lights out to the left and 200 out to the right. I'm not quite sure why they make them like this but luckily in my situation of hanging them on the front of my house, it actually worked out quite well. But I could see someone else getting these home and getting mad because they have to run an extension cord somewhere they weren't expecting.

I'm pleased with the lights. This generation is better than the 1st gen.

Very bright with tons of color options and a fairly easy to use app interface. It can be tricky to get all the lights seen by the app but a few tries will do the trick. The only reason I gave ot 4 stars rather than 5 is because 250 lights is frankly nowhere near enough to cover even half the tree with the other half backed in a corner. ESPECIALLY if you want to use the more intricate designs the app offers. I just wish Best Buy offered larger quantity packages and it would be perfect.

I literally need to exit out of it after every single click because it appears to not react but if you exit out and go back in - over and over and over it'll eventually get through it. But absolutely won't join groups. I was pretty disappointed if I'm being honest

These are the coolest christmas lights ever! Love the different patterns and they strobe too! You definitely need more than 1 string of a hundred, I bought 3 and my tree looks good, but could still use more!

These are great but keep in mind you can't daisy chain them.

Best Buy has one of the best prices for this 600 light version of Twinkly. ($199.99). I already owned a shorter string of Twinkly and wanted to add more. An app controlled light is awesome. Took a few minutes for it to get to work on my iPhone, but once it did, it was so fun to play with. Changing colors and patterns was easy. Keep in mind you need a lot of these lights to do a full Christmas tree.
