Aidan Quinn and Jared Harris do a great job in their portrayal of post-Beatles Paul and John, respectively. It seems fairly believeable, though it is based on "legend". The particular period of time "documented" in this movie was a fascinating time for John and Paul, as well as music and culture in general. Paul was having a great deal of success on the pop music front (with his Wings project); while John was on hiatus from an extrememly important and successful solo career of his own. Both rode their brilliant run with the Beatles into furthur greatness, expanding upon their tremendous contributions while a part of (arguably) the greatest recording artist of all-time. Excellent casting and fantastic direction (by the same director of "Let It Be" Michael Lindsay-Hogg) make this an absolute must see for Beatles fans. (I would easily recommend this movie to a friend, if he or she is happens to be a Beatles fan).
